Looks like things are looking up a bit for you.. (Also explains why some cute subbie chick I know isn't answering her phone... Too busy playing tag... ) Yes she's good at begging and pleading and wheedling and all that. We've discovered that while D may be able to resist one pair of big brown sad subbie eyes, two pairs of big sad brown subbie eyes with a really great bribe will work..

She is a bit young, years wise.. But her maturity greatly outstrips her chronological age, most of the time. Maybe it's growing up where/how she did.

I have been riding an eomotional roller coaster
but thankfully
the lows and pain are not as bad as Tuesday night

is 35 years ago that I returned from VN

i was so sorry to read what you've been going through. i think the worst thing is that whenever we think we've reached the absolute bottom depths of hell we somehow slowly becoming a version of "normal". we forget to be on guard every second, and then without warning into an even deeper pit.

i'm glad tuesday is past for you.

and i will celebrate this holiday from now on because it is the anniversary of your return

There's about 23 years between D and I, and a few more between you and her.. It can work, though sometimes it is strange. Not bad, just strange. For instance, I can barely remember Reagan as president. Granted, I did live in Scotland then, but he remembers things like Reagenonmics and such. And I'm pretty sure Reagan was out of office when ysa was born..

I have become a bit cynical about our country, but I will give the holiday a little more seriousness for you. I'm glad you made it home. You would be missed.
