YES! I felt that way long before I had ever experienced a d/s relationship. Had "flirted" with d/s for years, got scared by some bad experiences, then married a wonderful man who, sadly, does not share my interest in d/s.

I have had several long term affairs (of which he had varying degrees of knowledge and acceptance) that all contained elements of d/s play. My last one ended over the summer and I pretty much decided that it was more trouble than it was worth, I had never found a master who could truly dominate me the way that I desired.

Through a non-erotic writing board, I was introduced to Lit, a week later got a PM from a man responding to my user name (actually got a couple dozen, most of them one or two emails with no "click" between us) who is now my master. We are currently in a LDR, but looking to meet in person soon.

I read that paragraph and want to cry for the woman I was. Knowing that there was something more out there and not feeling it until now.

That is not how I feel/think. For one thing the use of the word slave puts me off. That's just the beginning of why I don't feel exactly "that" way.

I do think that submission can in some ways be freeing. I do think that some of us feel submissive from the get go. When you can consciously acknowledge and work on getting closer to that in RL, I think it's a wonderful thing, most of the time.

I do not believe that feel of being submissive or of being freed in some ways, by consciously acknowledging it and following that path, is confined to only women.

I had this almost totally answered and post disappeared

The policy of the hospital is
"if they have room in the hosptial Hospital
that is where you stay"

This has never happened when I traveled with a female before
so I was surpised... however from what I saw ... the number of us clinic people
was pretty low for some reason ....

Speaking of budget. The 2007 VA budget is way low
the VA has sent a letter to congress saying
that all funds for construaction and improvements
will have to be transfer to medcial care and they still will be short

oh ya
they do not have to give us housing or travel pay
travel pay is 11 cents a mile minus the first $6

The results were not pleasing
the artiors in my neck are both almost 50% clugged
and the clout in my juggler vein has almost 100% clugged that vein

Nice to find time to drop in here again and see you have been busy. For me, the paragraph is not how I feel or want to feel. I am not crazy about the Gor ideal or this notion that a slave is a slave because they simply have no choice and can't control the urge to submit. I prefer to own my choice to enter this type relationship for life, and take responsibility for what it means and where it can lead me because for me, if I said it was hopeless to fight because as a slave I just have to submit, I feel it is devaluing the one I have submitted to and minimising the respect and love I have for him and him only, and the responsibility he has taken on in choosing me. I see slaves/subs throughout cyber land claiming they are the ultimate submissive because they can't help submitting to anyone, but for me that is saying anyone will do and the one they just happen to be with (if they are with someone) is nothing special, just the first one who agreed to accept their generic brand submission. I also find many of these to be the first ones to run out when things become difficult or the fairytale begins to be a little more real and less glamourous than expected.

i guess that would be some sort of fairy tail for sure.. and i do agree in cyber land you can find many..of everything.!!!....but for me when you find someone ....who make you want fall to your knees...that someone speical.. .its something completely differnt......what i feel is that a slave can only be a slave ..when she/he has a owner....someone willing to take ownership.. but with that one, anything is possible...
