Who am I?
<looking up at you>

don't you know ?

you're the man who draws us to you with this thread and your other posts on these boards. we come because of the thoughts and feelings you have shared with us. maybe we have never met in r/t, but i do feel i know, part of you, at least. and there are times when it seems i can feel you in the darkness and i take comfort in that.

you are a man who is capable of great feeling, and that is blessing richard, though it can feel like a curse.

i feel the heat rising in me as i type, richard. and when all is said and done, you simply ARE...

and i'm glad you are :rose:

yesterday put last big touch to yard

I think I posted that I have been seeing a nilla
that I had mentioned to her that I wish I had less yard to cut
and that my yard was more bird and butterfly freindly

through her encourgement and help
it has slowly become just that
about a 1/3 is naturlized and has a number of bird feeder
yard also has two bird baths
and one section has a celtic cross with
plants inside it
some prenaual herbs
some annuals

yesterday
I added a pond/foutain
a wiskey half barrel with liner with a cerbium (sp) angle
that pumps the water
It sets against the house at the steps up to my porch and front door

well this morning
I had visitor
a raccoon that torn out one of my bird feeders
and dump some pots of flowers

Hello Richard,

I'm new to posting on this forum, but I have followed your thread here for some time now. I wanted to say that I think you're one of the Good Guys and that I hope the future brings you untold happiness.

What has piqued my interest is your love of herbs. I have been fascinated by herbal medicine for years, and although I could never make my living that way (much as I'd like to), I do make an effort to learn about and use herbs in my life.
I don't know if this is necessarily the right place for me to bring up the subject, but I am curious as to which herbs you have found effective against asthma? I tried coltsfoot for a while, but discovered later on that the risks outweighed the benefits. Oddly enough, I have found that sage smoke is relieving. I normally only get asthma when I've been ill these days; I had my worst time with it as a teenager, but I managed to stop needing ventolin five years ago or so. Most colds tend to move into my chest and stick around for a couple of weeks bringing on the asthma and a nasty cough. In those cases white horehound does help clear it more quickly, but OMG the taste! *yeuch* Wild cherry bark helps too, but I have used it less often. Any insights that you would care to share would be much appreciated.

Um, I didn't mean to hijack your thread with a long post, but I just got typing and typing! Anyway, I hope that you are having a lovely weekend in your rejuvenated garden!

Esme
