Yes, well. My coach informed me that if I want to stay as a starter I will not make snarky comments to evil refs.. So I behaved, mostly.

And yes, I behaved.. Of course. I might've mentioned that if you put a small bb or a small pebble about bb sized inside the cap on the valve stem thingy on tyres you'll get a slow leak sort of thing going on. And another evil teamate might have pointed out which car the evil one drives. And we might have done it in front of some one who was even madder at the ref than I was, and therefore more likely to get all, er vengeful and stuff..

I have unsubscribe from the SSS thread I started

I have been rewarded by know who some more people are that I would not want in my RT living room ........

their hands of the whole thing, and the Radiologists could see right

The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists felt
the scheme wouldn't hold water. The Anaesthesiologists thought the
whole idea was a gas, and the Cardiologists didn't have the heart to say no.
But in the end, the Proctologists left the decision up to some asshole
who didn't give a shit.

It was a soccer tourney (big surprise there..) that is mostly university players and some really talented teens. We had teams from all over Canada, Alaska, and some norther US teams. No one from Mishigan though. It's attended by scouts from various universities and some pro teams (european) and some Olympic and Pan AM team scouts.

My team is composed of most of my Uni team, which sort of gives us an edge cause we train together for 9 months of the year! Last year we were knocked out in the quarterfinals, this year we took second. Lots of improvements! It's a bit grueling though: we had 3 games on Thursday, 3 games on Friday, 2 games yesterday and 2 games today. For the first time in my life, I fouled out, with a red card! But I'm a good kid! I don't know who was more shocked, Richard, my coach or my mum!

So anyhoo, I'm exhausted, but still running on an endorphin and caffienne I think, but I may crash soon.

i ref soccer myself.........the tourney you mentioned reminds me of some of the select/invitationals that i have reffed and they ARE grueling to say the least!

The players have it easy tho

You only have to play 3-4 games a game..........refs have to do up to 10-12 a day in a tourney like that

LOL

13 is my top..........and i was DEAD, then i had to get up and be back at 6 am and do 9 more!

can we imagine how DEAD is? i CAN ....... LOL

Normally, I'd say, yes, the refs have it harder than we do.. But since we played during the rain storms and then were playing in up to 8 inches of icky red clay-ey mud when it wasn't raining, I think we worked just as hard as they did!

I got a fat lip, bumps and bruises, cleat marks on my ass, and a long gash on leg from someone's cleats.. We used duct tape to wrap it in a hurry so I could go back out..

well i know the players get it pretty tough?

but i have had more mud on me IN THE COLD winter air LOL

i was running a line during Snickers Cup one year and there was water 3 foot either side of the line and about 2 inches deep........ i was running full tilt, defense got ball and ball did a 180...i went to do an 180.....feet went up in air and came down on my neck, got up stood with world spinning and staggered a bit? then went to running to catch the ball

this was about 5-10 minutes into the 1st half.........

i finished the game.........

that was my first game of the day too

*smiles* i am one tough cookie for a subbie!

so tonight I made us all supper

everyone get around the table and leave a spot for "she" that
can not be with us .......

I have steamed brocoli, caulflower, new potatoes, an oinion
To spoon on it I made a cheese white souse
butter, flour, white pepper, dry mustard and blue cheese
