What would your fantasy society or city be like? Include as much or as little fantasy or science fiction elements into your description as you see fit.

Lets see just how creative we are... :)

The world that I saw as a child, back in the blue-sky years. No fear or hate or worries about the future. Where anything is possible for anyone. Where there are no homeless, seriously ill or truly poor. A society in which the securities of the sheltered are reality would be a Utopia indeed.

I would want to live in Piers Anthony's Xanth. Where everyone has one magical power. And fantasy creatures, unicorns, dragons, etc., all of them exist.

And the Grasses Green

If you ask this question
I think I know you
Without name
without face

We can fix this world:rose:

I've read a book by him... very good author.

Have to agree - that would make an interesting world.

Sigil!

I would want to live in the D&D world of Planescape - the City of Sigil in particular.

Why? Because it's so damn interesting and complicated... In that city, an angel and demon can walk into the same bar, be served liquor by an earth elemental, and enjoy conversation with the same Mechanical Outlaw.

There - anything is possible... but everything is just a touch darker... a funny darkness - like a tooth fairy that takes the fillings, but leaves the tooth. ;)

I would live right here....My magic, would be my love in my arms everyday......:)

What a great series, although it's been a long time since I've read any. I've actually had the desire to pull out some Piers Anthony lately. I may have to.

Shejidan

The capital of the atevi's Western Association rom C. J. Cherryh's "Foreigner" series. I couldn't do it justice in few enough words to make you read it here, so go get the book(s).

I will

Hi lukky, yeah, I will find the books and read them, I will!

Where have you been my friend?
I have missed your barbs in the bar!
