It's funny i thought being a lesbian meant I would never have a mother in law from hell. I was so very wrong.

ok carry on

I would assume it would be worse than for a het couple. The wife's experiences with her mother in law are usually more combative than a husband's experiences with his. Put that together with the fact that a lot of parents seem to be more protective of their daughters than their sons (as though we need the extra help) and I'd say the evil mother in law phenomenon is just made for lesbian marraiges.

Wait until she becomes grandmother from hell!!!
Yikes, you'll be running out for diapers whether you need them or not.

Des,

Reach deep for your inner bitch and remind her whose life she's trying to live.

Honey, the sooner you let her know you and Renza have your own lives the better. Let her know you love her, but you can stand on your own two feet without her input.

You will visit when you have time, you will bring the baby over when its convienient (sp) for you, not her!

Make it known that its easier for her to travel as an adult than the two of you with a baby! They dont get that, until they babysit and you make a point of forgetting half the stuff you really need for the baby, just to show them how much it takes to look after this new little life.

Mine didnt give me credit until she saw that I can do without her help. I once said to her, Its amazing I havent caused them great bodily harm with how little I knew- being sarcastic of course!

Good luck hun, and stay strong!

My Mother-in-law and I have a love/hate relationship.

She loves me, I hate her.

Just kidding, Ad!!!

Lou ;)

P.S. That's not far off the mark, though... she has very high moral values (is Japanese, if that's got anything to do with it!?) and thinks I am the model daughter-in-law. Oh, if only she knew...

you know if you rearrange the letters in mother in law it spells

Hitler woman:D

Not marrying the lady in question keeps her mother unsure of her ground (or, at least, so I've found)...

Mind you, the fact that the lady moved in with me and my wife might also have confused her mother.
