Writing Goal for the Day?

It's going to be slow going as after two years here and finally getting some sort of a grasp on grammar this old stuff is hideous. The story is decent, but grammar non existent. I also had this annoying fetish with two words "actually" and "almost" in just about every case the word needs to be eliminated.

I struggle with modifers. "A little deeper..." versus just "deeper." It's like being a "little pregnant."

Anyway, I finished my last Anal entry and submitted it this morning. Now for the long approval wait.... sigh.

well I see where deeper is the key word in an anal story!

Thing is I catch myself constantly doing things like that. Once I got to a point where I started catching the "actually and almost" I began to start using "a bit"

although I was a bit nervous. I look at it and say "why not just say nervous?" I catch all this afterwards and remove them, but on the fly they are getting past me.

The wife suggested a shock collar and I get zapped every time I do that. I like how she thinks, but then the problem would be I would actually start doing it a bit more on purpose

Substitute modifiers with sensual experience coupled with action verbs.

I have a lot going on and a new project as well that relates to an old project to dust off. Also I am hoping to start adding to a longer piece and slide back over to the Earth Day contest story, not to mention (but I will anyway - what a dumb saying "not to mention" - then why mention it?) - anywho ---- not to mention the various other great ideas that popped into my head at the tail end of last week.

I did learn - don't answer emails while drinking. I had a lovely litster gentleman PM me about a story and I said - I've never read it. They emailed me back - You wrote it. lol -- Yeah, when sober I remember things better than when not sober.

I wrote chapter 38 of SWB while buzzing out of my mind and still drinking Jack and cokes. The chapter was meant to be depressing as hell as the sister was at rock bottom due to her coke addiction and planning to kill herself.

When I woke up the next day, I opened up the doc, planning on having to rewrite it. I read though it and didn't make one change. I've had many people e-mail me and say it had them in tears and was some of my best work.

so if you'll excuse me, I'm on way upstairs to trade my coffee mug in for a shot glass.

Cutting away from erotica production today to work the full day on a mainstream bieannial anthology I edit. Too bad because I'm "this close" to cracking the rewrite on a Dirk Hessian novel.

Was kicked out of the house around noon - my Better Half does NOT like me around when she cleans, I'm too "Hands On." Came to the favorite Starbucks and almost immediately began to write, working on an erotic cross-genre piece. The Redhead barista, my wife's favorite friend, kept interrupting me, talking..Now that she's finished and headed home to work on her graduate studies, I'm ready to work on erotica....and all that comes into my mind is pieces in the Cussler-Berry-Meltzer-Preston-Childs vein.

I mean, come on, I want to write about boobies and butts, not conspiracties and treasures.

The house is quieting down, and soon there will only be three people in it, three relatively quiet people, which means I may get some writing done. I don't know where I'll start though.

Well, I've maxed out the first level of Anal stories with my last submission (pending approval). I'm loathe to start a new story, because I get obsessed with finishing it at the expense of getting "real" work done, but with the approval process taking a week - I need to keep moving if I want to max out every category.

BDSM is next - not a favorite for me. I've never been a whips and chains sort of guy. It can get raw, over-the-top, and abusive too quickly for me. I'll have to review a few stories for a feel of the section, but hope to knock out something worth reading today.
