Writing Goal for the Day?

A plot bunny has been humping my leg for the last few days so I decided to see where it wanted to take me. A sunbathing on a deserted creek, wandering around in the woods naked, back to nature first time story, it sounds like so far. I think keeping it simple is the way to go. Although it has many possibilities. Maybe I'll save them for a future installment or two or three.

Early, early in the morning got an expansion of Trip Money to the publisher for relaunch in early June and can now turn to the relaunch of Flying High, Digging Deep. Finish a new story for the later last night too. Maybe I'll look at the nude day contest entry today as well.

Finished and published the reluctance story I put together over the last couple of days. Now I'm supposed to be editing the next installment of Broken. However I woke up with a good bunny for a teacher/student femdom foot fetish story, so we'll see if its still burning in my mind when I get home from work tonight, if not editing it is.

A hilarious opening sequence popped into my head just as I was going to bed last night. I'm going to write it up, file it, and put it away until the rest of the story shows up.

**update** did this, plus got 2600 words down on a story I started last week.

I do that, but generally it's sex scenes. I have about a dozen random sexual encounters saved with no story to go with them. Then I'll come up with an idea and plug them in.

My goal for today was to read my Beta-reader's changes to the second part of the prologue to my dark Pearlshipping (bad/evil/etc. Ash and Dawn romance) Pokemon fan fiction story and get it published at the other site where I publish my fan fiction works.

Got it done, now I can concentrate on finishing the eleventh chapter of "Time's Changes" - another Pokemon fan fiction. I know I won't complete it today.

Had my chance this morning but totally couldn't focus. And now since I've been fighting a cold, and had a long dentist visit today and am very tired I doubt I could focus now. Sigh. but we shall see. Focus sometimes happens after the little ones are in bed.

Finished a 25,000+ 6 chapter story. Time for a little break. Mind doesn't want to think right now. Started submitting the story and going away for the weekend.:)

I know I won't get any writing done today, as I worked 12-5, and I usually don't get any writing done when I work that shift (I need to find another job anyways - current one isn't giving enough money for all my needed groceries after rent and the loan is paid).

Update: Just realized that posting in my journal is a form of writing so my goal for today is to complete a post in there that's worth a read.;)

Writing, if I can call it that, the follow-up to "A Thug on Ice Skates". It's going slower than anything I've ever done before; it feels like trying to snowshoe through a vat of molasses. And I'm going to need licensing to get it published. I wish the compulsion to write were more compulsive.

Just as I settled down to edit my soon to be latest submission - my phone rang. At my r/l job in retail, some stupid bitch of an employee decided to help themselves to $100 out of the deposit. I reviewed the camera footage, watched her do it, and left my computer to meet with the police.

In the past, I've been very disappointed with the effectiveness of a police officer to truly do anything about a petty theft in a retail enviroment - even with video. I have a long list of thefts (some not so petty) that were never investigated or persecuted. I don't know why.

But this guy was really good. It didn't help the perp's situation that she was already in trouble with the law and had run ins with this officer before. The guy was remarkably polite to her, even after reading her her rights and cuffing her. He gave her every opportunity to come clean. Best of all, he was able to recover the missing money from her (bit by bit). And, he seemed to appreciate that our company policy is to still prosecute.

Bitch stole my writing time, hell yeah I want to press charges!

Planting plants, mulching pathways, and getting ready for weekend company today. First sunny day in nearly a week. A little bit of editing and maybe some review on habu's relaunching Flying High, Diving Deep before I go to bed.

Wonder where that bunny wandered in from? ;)

My goal for the day was to finish making the corrections to a story I started a couple weeks ago. Too little sleep made the brain slow and I'm not done.

I posted an excellent post in my journal earlier, so mission accomplished. Now to reward myself with a sci-fi film since I don't work til 5 PM tomorrow!:D

I have never been happier that I backed up my file. Actually, I backed it up the lazy way because I didn't want to fetch the flash drive -- I emailed it to myself. The original file on my laptop got corrupted somehow and wouldn't open properly. I did think of another way I could have retrieved the file, but lesson learned nonetheless: Back Up Your Shit!

Serenissima Syd, too right! The old "poor guy's copyright", mailing your story to yourself (which doesn't work for copyright purposes in the USA) has a new twist--e-mailing the story to yourself, so the attached file is stored "off-campus". Warning- beware of flashdrives. Lose one of those little suckers, and if they're not password protected, you could be monumentally screwed.

I worked a gig at WALMART and a gig at QUICKIE MART, and what I saw was: Management steals more than anyone.

Woohoo! Finished and submitted my next Exhibitionist/Voyeur story on the same day as my last submission showed up online. (Submitted on Saturday, it posted today.)

I like the story that just posted, too. First completed story after a lull that has lasted since my Earth Day submission.

Now to take a DVD copy from yesterday's theft to the cops.

@JAMESBJOHNSON - You're probably right. In general, when managers go rogue, it's a felony charge.

Woke up in the middle of the night, new story in my head. I quickly wrote down the concept, now I just have to flesh out the plotline. My stories tend to be more minimal on the sex, heavy on the setup, at least until after the first in a series.

I'm working on the plot, but feel conflicted while I still have one story in submission and more chapters to write for THAT one. When the creative juice rains, it pours, apparently.

My goal for today is simple - write down the ideas I have in my head on my computer before I forget them!

Finished the first draft of DM4. Next week I'll take a break from writing and get some editing done.

I'll get some editing done and have already done some last-reviewing of habu's Flying High, Diving Deep novel relaunch. But companies coming and there's a full weekend of wineries, art festivals, and concerts this weekend. Beautiful weather for it too.
