So, I'm still waiting for the deleting/publishing delay to be over and as of now, it's been nearly 2 months.
While waiting, I've written and re-written my story to the point where some things are completely different and I'm calling it a multiverse now
Version 1: The chapters were very short, my main female character started off ok but started mostly fading into the background as I started writing other P.O.Vs and the story ended up turning into 3 books/parts.
Version 2: I started condensing chapters to make it all into one part/book, introduced and fleshed out some of the antagonists, but the main male antagonist started feeling stale as the story went on, the main female antagonist only doing slightly better than the original. I got halfway through before I gave up for a while because I hated everything happening (this was around 1 month of waiting for admins here to do something about the issues I tried messaging them about with no luck, so that didn't help my mood)
Version 3: After a couple weeks, I went back and read through the story and decided to flesh out one of the other male antagonists. I liked writing his character and story arc so much that he's starting to take over the story + writing the arc of my main female protagonist has become loads better as a result. Now I can't wait until I finish this story
As for one I can publish it here, who knows...but at least I'm enjoying writing again.
