We are currently working on a maxim-esque online type project. Humor/sex/health/sports/videogame articles with a much harder, edgy tone to it.
At the moment, we are looking for writers/journalists, after doing some research, I was told would Literotica would be a great place to find writers.

If you think you have something to offer, please send an email with an example of your work to recruit@digitallyloaded.com.
I would like to thank the Literotica community for your support and interest. I hope we can work together on something mutually benificial someday.

Well, here is a question I am sure is on everyone's mind that has read your post: What is in it for the writers?

If they are anywhere near serious, reasonable freelance fees. But I have my doubts about recruiting them on an amateur writer's board with nothing more to go on than that post.

Didn't read on another thread recently (Black snake I think), that it is expressly against Literotica's rules (for want of a better word), to 'tout' for writers/donations to another site through theirs?

Or did I misinterpret what was being said??

Mat

You need to be more specific here. I am sure you must have some writers guidelines set up for your online mag?

What is the theme of the mag? Mens, womens?

Humor what, short fiction stories, or themed humorous articles. Do you have a link to your site yet (even if still under construction?)

Length of articles or stories is an issue. Are you looking at all for short stories or just articles?

When you say hard edged do you mean more graphic sexually things are ok or what?

Omni~

PS. The time and consideration you take to present yourself clearly and with professionalism reflect on the quality and quantity of legit return inquiries.

I'm not certain Mat, I don't catch every thread. You'll have to enlighten me for that one. I only responded to him because noone else had. Not out of interest, but just to see what the writers would get out of it. He didn't even state, which is frankly a mistake, you should always say what the person is going to get out of it *grin*

Reading the original post I assume that founder2004 and friends make money out of it, while the authors get fame and glory and exposure and all those other things that writers are given instead of money.

Now, what if I am a prostitute, what business has society to abuse me? Have I received any favours at the hands of society? If I am a hideous cancer in society, are not the causes of the disease to be sought in the rottenness of the carcass? Am I not its legitimate child; no bastard, Sir?

From a letter in The Times (February 24th, 1858)*

*The substance of this famous and massively sarcastic letter, allegedly written by a successful prostitute, but more probably by someone like Henry Mayhew, may be read in Human Documents of the Victorian Golden Age.

Well... OK. I'm a bit behind on the current affairs, but that's besides the point. Writers and Journalists are liars (expecially American ones).

Do not trust what you read! Do not trust What you see or hear. Do not trust the US government (any government). Period.
