Muffie said in Sarah's thread:
Depends on the venue. For Lit, these are my spelling choices:

orgasm:

n. cum
v. cum, cums, cumming, came

move toward:

v. come, comes, coming, came

I prefer to differentiate between the two because "I'm cumming!" has a completely different meaning than "I'm coming!" and I don't like to leave meaning and connotation up to context when I can actually use a word to show the reader what's what.

There's a story in them thar words! (She watches too much Gomer Pyle. ;))

So, the Wild Sweet One Cum challenge:

Write a story of at least 750 words that gives us a look at the differences and the samenesses of "I'm cumming!" and "I'm coming!"

Deal.

:D

Shall we say, participles at dawn? *chortle* I've always wanted to say that.

Say anything you like! Just so long as I can bring my alliterative abstractitis ;)

*busy lookin' up 'participles'*

I've begun mine with a writing exercise - combining two jobs in one ;)

'On Monday she came home...' sound boring enough? ;)

*wondering how the hell I got in this corner* I didn't even see it cumming! rofl

Oh this is going to be good.........

Better than the budwiser commercial.........

I can hardly wait to see the cummings and goings on this one!

I remain, (excitedly awaiting the outcum)

1600+ words and i've lost count of how many of them begin with 'c' rofl.

i'll give it a couple of days, then check it for typos and hmm do we submit the stories or are we posting them in the thread?

1,120 words.

I just submitted it. "I'm Coming!" Should show up in a few days.

You can do what you wanna. ;)

Cum again?

Are you kidding KM? I wouldn't stand a chance.........

Huh?

You're the guy firmly kicking my butt in the author of the year thing. Stand a chance. Pfiffle.

Hmmmmmm

As Km strokes Thesandman's manhood....er ah, I mean ego.

I might have to give some thought to this.......<smile>. Though as I am leaving for Maui Tuesday morning, you might have to wait until I get back.

I remain,

help please...

i wish to submit in the Lit submit box by using my the copy and paste method. i have a couple of sentences that need putting in italics. what codes do i use to save Laurel having to find and sort them?

is it the same italics,
[ i ] and [ / i ] as in these posts? (not that i can get them to work around the word 'italics' at the moment. rofl)

Do this instead kiddo....

It's easier........

Save your file into "text only" copy. Then submit. Now you can go back..."edit" and insert whatever you'd like. Just re-save by hiting the submit key again once you've edited your changes. Save's Laurel a hell of a lot of work. :)

i know that's english... i just can't focus my eyeballs on it. lol

i'll give it a go dad, thanks

okay now i spend untold sleepless nights tossing and turning, wondering how badly beat up i'm gonna look by the end of the month.

i've submitted 'Homecoming' (darn original title, i thought) at 1723 words.

now i'll just go sit in my corner and weep.

Actually.........

I'm rather excited.........

Hopefully I'll have two <fun> interesting and <amusing> stories to read when I get back from Maui.

Homecuming vs I'm coming.......er, cumming, whatever. Either way it's bound to be very climatic!

I remain,

okay here's mine...

Homecoming

I can't find yours yet KM... Odd how mine's gone up already and yours isn't there... I might be looking in the wrong places though.

For anybody that's interested, Homecoming is showing on my list as 4.42, with 12 votes and 993 views - (incredibly huge amount of voting for a first day - I can't understand it.)

(edited to add -four and a half hours later and got one of the 1 votes overwith - gotta love predictability ;) 4.31, with 13 votes and 993 views)
