Funnily enough, I actually love things like honey barbeque or sweet & sour chicken and curries. It's just pineapple mixed with ham, on a pizza or Hawaiian toast, that raises the hackles on my tastebuds for some reason.The combination of salty/smoky and sweet/acidic is a S-tier flavor profile, which is why barbequed meat with a vinegar-based sauce is an incredible dish in multiple cultures and countries.
