Apparently, there is a window, before new poems are posted, but are listed in the Author's listings. I just left comments (or I think I did) on poems that aren't up in New listings.
Posting these names, so I can check later to make sure I'm not reading in a dream.

When they update, they do the html page for the poem, then update the author's submission list before they add the link to the new poems list so that everything is in place before a reader like you clicks the link on his way to happy poetry reading. So, you weren't dreaming... this time.
