Wouldn't it be nice if no one could start more than one thread per hour, so you could actually read them all, at least all the ones that actually might be interesting?
If you could expect that a thread would be more than a way for someone to inflate their post total so they can get an avatar or other cookie?
Wouldn't it be nice if hijacking didn't happen on virtually every thread?
If completely inane chatter were taken to, I don't know, chat? Or IMs? Or PMs?
If people didn't use EVERY issue as an excuse to jump on a smearing bandwagon, blaming approximately 1/2 the world for the problems of the other half (i.e. "damn liberals", "damn conservatives", "fucking insert huge, ill-defined group here)?
