KM, the stooges are "real" men. They're very basic kind of guys. And when men watch the stooges, it helps them get in touch with their inner Neanderthal. It makes them want to grunt and poke each other in the face.

I have the opposite problem. I don't understand what's not to like about the stooges. Guys in general tend to like slapstick humor a lot more than women, but even that doesn't seem to completely explain the phenomenon.

I suspect there may be a "3 stooges appreciation gene" found on the Y chromosome. Now that we have have the genome transcribed it'll only be a matter of time before I isolate the exact gene!

Most men are practically kids at heart. I know I am and don't plan to change. speaking for myself I get a kick out of watching them. They're, for the most part, mindless craziness but that's exactly why I like them. Nothing better than a little silly ass slapstick to get you going. I'll really throw you off I also love monty python, yet another singly guy thing. I think it kind of goes along with alot of guys like their women to be playful and fun, I for one love it when a girl acts all innocent and cute like a little girl sometimes. Life doesn't always have to be serious.

I used to love the Stooges. The original line up was the best. It was just the broad slapstic situaltional comedy. You just knew in every episode there was going to be an eyepoke or headslap.

Plus Curly had some of the best one liners ever.
