I'm writing a story (chapter 6, the other chapters are still awaiting approval) and want to make the beginning somewhat humorous. I'm thinking a bad 1st impression scenario would be kind of funny.

What is the worst 1st impression you've ever given somebody or that somebody has projected to you that proved to be wrong?

When i was a librarian, i had a request for a bible in plain english. So i was looking through some at my desk and i was introduced to the new Program Director. He thought i was a prude until we had an actual conversation. lol. He said i looked so angelic and proper sitting at my desk reading the good book.
