World War II: Behind Enemy Lines (OOC)

The date is Jan 9, 1943. World War II is reaching its` climax. Germany controls almost all of Europe, England is trying to recover from German bombings, the United States is still recovering from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, and the Soviet Union is cuently in a stalemate with Germany. The Allies are desperate for any advantage that will help them even the odds against the Axis Powers.

Thus the United Allied Special Forces (UASF) is created. A group of multi-national highly trained soldiers that`s tasked to; Infiltrate Germany, Gather Intelligence, Kill specific targets such as SS troops and German Generals, and ultimately try to kill Hitler himself.

The tread will start with the characters just finishing up training and getting their briefing. This is a good place for the PC`s to get to know eachother. Afterwards the PC`s will be preparing to be air dropped over Calais, France. However, things don`t go according to plan and the PC`s find themselves in unknown territory, unable to contact for help, and many other problems.

NAME: Mike "Shifty" Adams

AGE: 26

GENDER: Male

NATIONALITY: American

RANK: Captain 2nd Class

ROLE: Medic

APPEARENCE: 5'11" and 149 lb. Avellan might look thin and weak, but he`s quick and alert. He ha light blue eyes, straight black hair, has a slightly thin face with some Sicillian heritage looks, and pale skin.

PERSONALITY: Direct, serious, and cunning, many see Avellan as an natural born leader. He cares for the troops under his command by showing respect and loyalty. He`s not very good at small talk, but gives orders with determination and planning. He never rushes into situations but would rather sit back and think out all the available options.

HISTORY: Evendur joined the military because he needed a purpose in life. He was an orphan, had no job, and could barly make a living. The military took him in and he soon became a natural, easily adjusting to the extreme conditions of the training. He quickly rose through the ranks which caught the attention of the Allied gobernments who asked him to join the UASF. He quickly accepted and became a Captain 1st Class.

GENDER: Female
NATIONALITY: French
RANK: Independent for the Allies
ROLE: Spy
APPEARENCE: 5'9, dark brown hair, light green eyes, olive skin
PERSONALITY: Smart and kind, usually even to strangers, but since this whole war business has started she has become somewhat paranoid.
HISTORY: Used to live in Paris, until her father was killed in the war. Her mother fell into a depressive "coma" and refused to speak to anyone. Isobel was approached by an agent of the French army who thought she would make a good spy. She trained for 6 months and can be quite deadly, however, her primary function is to use her feminine wiles to get information.
EQUIPMENT: a small silver knife, and a pistol

Well I have an idea on how you could meet with us.

We were heading to be air dropped in Calais France, but problems cause us to miss our dstination and instead, are dropped off in a small a village. A group of German soldiers attack us and keep us pinned down. The fight is a stalemate, with the Germans having good cover. Isobel comes along and helps us defeat the German troops.

I'm guessing that he needs more players. I would join, but I don't want to play Allies. I want to play German

I know that Germans can be part of the thread, but I'm just too lazy to type out a whole history as to how he was captured and given the chance to join the Allies and help prevent the senseless slaughter that Hitler was waging on everybody

Ok so are you going to be with our characters or helping Hitler.

If your helping the Allies AKA us then your character can be a Germn officer or soldier who deslies how Hitler is
running things. You character wants to save Sacred Germany.

If your going to help Hitler. then there`ll be problems. I`m running it where all the players are working together to stop Nazi Germay. You`ll have to explain what your intenting for your character to do if your going to help Hitler.

I`d rather you be a German soldier helping the Allies, and not helping Hitler.

Hmmm right so how about you capture my character (who is fluent in English) and after he finds out that you want to end the life of the absonderlicher bube offers to help as long as Hitler gets killed.

RANK: SS Hauptsturmführer (captain)
ROLE: Leader
APPEARANCE: 6'9", 240 pounds, ice blue eyes, white blond hair
PERSONALITY: Cold and calculating, an excellent actor as he have survived years protecting his dark secret.
HISTORY: Joined the army straight out of school, of course his family name and the fact that his father was a very strong National Party supporter as well as having friends in very high places, helped to propel Raphael up in the ranks. But being good at military tactics and being a dead shot also helped a lot. Never one to demand from his men anything more than what he would not do himself. He always lead from the front and have various scars to prove just that. Feared by his opponents, idolized by his men, Raphael is the man you want in your corner when die scheiße schlägt den anhänger.

I might got with my character is with some other American soldiers (All NPC) in a plane since no one else want's to be on the planes. I'll wait for one more day before I set up the IC, so as to give other people a chance to join.

You could play either, though Aliyahlovinsex has already taken the part of being the Spy. Maybe your another spy and/or civilian whose part of the French Resistance to get the Nazis out of France.

Hmm well since the Nazis were intersted in taking over the African Continent and make all the counties there fall under Nazi rule then I`ve got an idea.

Your character was on vacation to France (visit the country, meet friends or relatives, etc.) at the very beginning of the War. She was still in France when Germany invaded and took over it over. She is now trapped in France (because Germans didn`t let people in or our of France) so she helps the French Resistance in any way she can.

Something like that is quite possible. She would be able to speak several languages (I thought of maybe an actress, or someone related to film.) So either the french resistance decided that she could be helpful in any way, and she has little choice of rejecting anything in her position, or she is spy for the allies. I think if she already knows one of the characters (even a little) it might be easir to get her in the stories.
(Else the soldiers might just say. Oh, a lady? Sorry, we have a mission to do. The next hotel is in that direction, good bye.)

I got an idea. Since you said you character might be an actress. She must have been to Hollywood at one point in her life. So I got an idea on how you can meet my guy and his fello soldiers without being ignored and sent away.

How about your character went to Hollywood at one point and my guy as there. He was friends with the director or producer and my guy got a part in one of the movies. They became friends but they never got into a relationship because she had to leave to go back home. My guy lost contact with her and hasn`t heard from her in about 2 or 3 years.

Once my guy meets her, he`s glad to see her and knows that she can be helpful considering that she`s part of the French Resistance and that she can serve as a translator for him and his fellow troops.

NAME: Salima Mimoun

AGE: 31

GENDER: female

NATIONALITY: Morrocan
RANK: None, She is a civilian who collobarates with the Resistance.

ROLE: Actress.

APPEARENCE: She has a pretty face with a very exotic, oriental look. She has long lashes and very big, amber colored eyes, a wide mouth and a slightly
hooked nose, her hair is black, quiet long and wavy. Her skin is rather dark for a white woman, and she has a curvy figure. She is 5'5 tall and has measurements about 37-24-37, D-cup. She wears makeup and takes care for her clothes, with are of western fashion, although combined with jewelery from the middle-east.

PERSONALITY: She is from a rich, influent family and was raised in the belief to be better then the average folks. Although arabic, her family always supported the french and are influenced by their lifestyle, so she is a bit torn between the two cultures. But she has a very strong will and is more self-conscious as you would not expect from her cultural background. Still, she is rather moralic and never visited one of the infamous orgies in hollywood. Still, in her time, the country is not as islamistic as today.

HISTORY: Her very rich and influental family has adopted a lot from the european culture, as they had bonds with the french since the 1880s. Later they supported the french in making morrocco into a french proctorate. Salima was born in Tangier and was used to speak and act with french diplomates since her early childhood, and she visited france several times, as there lived some of her relatives. Finally she was allowed to become an actress and went to relatives in america to go to hollywood. Sadly she did not become a star, although she got some rules that fit her exotic, oriental beauty. In 1940 she she played an arab woman that had a liason with an officer of the french foreign legion in one movie. She had flirted with one of the other actors in the set, but it didn't became anything serious. Still, her relative exaggerated the whole thing and Salima was ordered back by her family, and she gave in after some resistance and bitter arguments. Of course she knew that it wasn't so much her own behaviour that aused the rouse, but more the fact that the american landed in morocco in november 1942 and pro-Allied General Antoine Béthouart attempted to throw off the french govertment. Her family knew, that the USA would support the idea of independence, which would be catastrophic for the Mimouns who always supported france.
She traveled back to france, where she stayed for the next time, working as translator. As things were getting dangerous in europe, her family told her told take a ship from Marseille back to Tangier. But she hesitated to long, and the germans blocked the way back. Suddenly she was approached by the resistance.

NOTES: She speaks fluently arabic, french and english (with some arabic accent) and a bit of spanish.
