Harvey Weinstein, Trump's alter ego in another body, did not
follow court orders.

This last time that Weinstein the sex offender was seen in the news,
he was at a bar trolling feminists. Unfortunately, the event he crashed
was a fundraiser for suicide prevention. The people performing for
the charity confronted his mocking face, were kicked out.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2019/10/25/harvey-weinstein-heckler-kelly-bachman-video/

Harvey Weinstein has not lost his arrogance or disregard for the law.
He slapped down a million dollars on his bail, and walked away.

He aimed his insolence at the judge that placed a security monitoring
device on his ankle. He defied court orders and went anywhere
he damn pleased.

Harvey pretends he is disabled, and could not possibly
have violated the conditions of his release on bail.
A vehicle accident, and a doctor that assured the court
that the operation would not interfere with Weinstein's
next court appearance. (Or skip town ?)

Harvey Weinstein, who will face trial in January on several
sex-crime charges, including rape, had his bail increased
Wednesday to $5 million cash from $1 million due to dozens
of alleged violations of his electronic monitoring agreement.

Assistant Manhattan D.A. Joan Illuzzi, the lead prosecutor in the case,
said there had been 57 violations of Weinstein’s bail arrangement,
mostly having to do with the electronic monitoring equipment.

As an alternative to cash bail, Burke offered a $50 million security bond,
partially secured at 10%, or a $2 million insurance company bond, and
Weinstein opted for the latter.

Spider's Web in the Oval Office

Corporations have been granted personhood, and religious rights.
They have more rights that living, breathing, functioning, flesh
and blood human beings. Double the power, because of the power
of a corporation and the power of an artificial "person," combined.
This "super being" maims and kills.

One living and breathing, flesh and blood woman facing off
against a corporation and its subsidiary companies, does not
have much of a chance of success.

An awful event-
Pregnant woman has been poisoned by the corporation,
or injured by the lack of safety measures, and equipment,
that would have prevented serious injury. and she miscarries
a fetus. Years of her life are spent in the courts of law, and in
prison- killing a fetus is against the law, endangering a fetus
is against the law. She became pregnant because the corporation
claims religious rights to refuse supplying contraception coverage
concerning her health insurance, covered by the corporation. She
is not paid a living wage, and cannot always afford to pay for it,
herself. She was raped, but decided against reporting & seeking
a trial. The corporation is serious about not allowing abortion
coverage in the health insurance it supplies. The corporation does
not give access to family leave to part time employees. The only
full time employees are executive positions and administration.

Being a corporation that pretends to have religious beliefs, it also
is male dominated and hypocritical- sexual harrassment is ignored
and rape culture is flourishing throughout the corporate system.
Employees are forced to "donate" part of their wages to the effort
to destroy Planned Parenthood, make abortion illegal, and give
pharmacists the right to refuse to sell contraception, and refuse
to fill prescriptions that supply" at home' abortion chemicals,
on religious grounds. Some of the money goes to religious
figures that head "prosperity churches, " these supply poltical
campaign money to anti-abortion candidates. These favored
politicians lobby the Presiderp, and offer to make votes available,
and other favours. At every rally visit to their state, the Presiderp
collects money bags of "campaign contributions." Soon, afterwards,
federal grants and state contracts are approved, and money flows
into the "religious"community.

Texas: Evangelical women's health group owes state $1.5 million

https://www.dallasnews.com

State Investigators Identify ‘Serious Contractual Violations’
by the Heidi Group

A new report from the health inspector general says the Heidi Group,
an anti-abortion group tapped to replace Planned Parenthood in state
family planning programs, misused taxpayer funds, and calls for an
expanded investigation of the group’s contracts.

Nov 8, 2019

Texas awarded contracts worth millions of dollars in 2016 to
Carol Everett, the head of Heidi Group and an anti-abortion
activist.

Everett continues to seek taxpayer funding. This summer, she quietly
started a new group called Vita Nuova, or “new life,” a “Christian,
pro-life organization.” The organization sued the U.S. government,
challenging Title X rules that it claims would bar the group from
receiving funding due to its anti-abortion position and its refusal
to recognize same-sex marriage—in the hypothetical future scenario
in which the group vies for the federal family planning funds.

Anti-Choice Grifter’s Mischief Costs Texas Taxpayers $1.6M

State asks for its money back after Round Rock-based anti-abortion
group fritters away women’s health funds

Carol Everett and her Round Rock-based organization the
Heidi Group have been asked to repay the state a whopping
$1.6 million (which it likely does not have) for numerous
"serious" violations, including overpaying its employees;
making charges outside the scope of its grants
(including for gift cards, clothing, appliances, and retail membership fees);
failing to have sufficient (if any) documentation of the work of its
subcontractors; and other absences of accountability and oversight.

After her well-deserved rejection, Everett and her associates,
now rebranded as Vita Nuova, sued the federal government,
arguing that anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ groups with
"sincere religious beliefs" deserve Title X money regardless
of their competence.

The suit follows the Trump administration's move to bar clinics
that refer patients to abortion care from receiving Title X funding.

https://www.austinchronicle.com/new...grifters-mischief-costs-texas-taxpayers-1-6m/

Aug. 2, 2019

After the massive and very public failure, you'd think Ever*ett
might retreat into the shadows. Instead, she created a new
organization with two Heidi employees – Vita Nuova, Latin
for "new life" – and sued the federal government a day later.
The brazen attempt to win funds, initially reported by Politico,
argues that anti-choice and anti-LGBTQ groups with
"sincere religious beliefs" deserve Title X money –
federal grants designated for health and family planning
to low-income women. The suit follows the Trump administration's
move to ban clinics that get Title X funds from referring patients to
abortion care – that rule is in effect but being challenged in court.

Despite its anti-choice credentials, Vita Nuova says it can't get federal
funding, and wants favors called in: HHS "requires all of its grant
recipients to recognize same-sex marriage, and it provides no
exemptions or accommodations for organizations (such as Vita Nuova)
that oppose homosexual behavior for sincere religious reasons,"
the lawsuit reads. Dan Quinn of the Texas Freedom Network tells
us the group is basically suing for the right to discriminate against
LGBTQ people who come to them for services. "Talk about chutzpah,"
said Quinn. "They can change their name and create as many different
organizations as they want, but neither the government nor the courts
should force taxpayers to fund this toxic brew of incompetence and
discrimination."

Anti-Abortion Group Obria Lied To Get Title X Funding

Obria (Not Real Female Reproduction Health Care) Clinic

Trump is funding fake clinics

- Amy Weintraub
October 4, 2019

What’s happening to all those dollars no longer going to comprehensive
women’s health centers? Some of it has been diverted to anti-abortion
fake clinics that use lies and deception to mislead women.

One fake clinic receiving these funds is Obria, a California-based chain
of clinics that discourages women from using hormonal birth control
(like the pill) and instead promotes untested procedures like
“abortion pill reversal.”

Obria, like all anti-abortion pregnancy centers, is politically-motivated
and biased.

They do not fulfill the mission of the federal Family Planning program:
ensuring people with low incomes can access reproductive health care.

It's pretty clear that President Trump is using all available funds to torture children and their pets.

25 years ago today, two women were killed

December 30, 2019 11:52 AM

Clinic shootings were still an unfamiliar horror 25 years ago.
On December 30, 1994, John Salvi terrorized two women’s
(reproductive) health centers in Brookline, Massachusetts,
killing two women--Shannon Lowney and Leanne Nichols--
and injuring five. He went on to shoot up a Virginia clinic
before being arrested.

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...ears-ago-today-two-women-were-killed-for-what

Assistant District Attorney John Kivlan portrayed Salvi
as a cunning antiabortion zealot, a "terrorist" who plotted
the murders, then evaded an elaborate police manhunt.

Kivlan showed that Salvi purchased a .22-caliber Sturm
Ruger semiautomatic rifle, and customized it with a folding
stock and pistol grip. Near his home in Hampton, N.H.,
Salvi purchased 1,000 hollow-tip bullets, designed to
maximize injuries to human victims.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/local/longterm/aron/salvi021996.htm

Anti-abortion fanatics swore to punish the doctors that
performed the procedure that removed a fetus. The result
was murdered receptionists, and wounded guards and staff.

The polititcians wanted to win an election, so they fired up the crazies,
to bring publicity to their cause. Not as if they cared about pregnant
women or the fetuses. 2019, many women and their fetuses died from
lack of health care. The politicians succeeded in killing Planned Parenthood
in many states, by legislating burdens, impossible regulations, and rules.
The politicians never replaced the missing health care for women.
Thanks to Trump, the money meant for reproductive health care
was delivered to office buildings occupied by liars and frauds.
The "Christian" swindlers soon were arrested, tried in courts
of law, and sentenced and fined. The grifters deserted the scene
of the crime, and soon invented another "non-profit." The point
was money, and real federal dollars are circulating through the
system that supports Trump.

Taxation on sanitary products.

There has been a campaign, mainly in Europe, to remove taxation on women's sanitary products. Most European countries do not apply tax to shaving apparatus but do on pads and panty liners, deeming the former 'essential' and the women's products 'luxuries'.

Also some schools are now providing free products for menstruating girls to avoid 'period poverty'.

What is happening, if anything, where you are?

Not all states have repealed the tax on sanitary products for women-

Some states enforce a law that compels institutions to supply them.

Not sure about for-profit private schools and prisons owned by hedge funds.

(Privately owned institutions refuse to provide food, water, medical care.)

It seems that the conversation and activism still continues-

Constitutional law scholar and dean of University of California-
Berkeley Law Erwin Chemerinsky recently co-authored a Los
Angeles Times op-ed proposing that the failure of states to exempt
menstrual products from sales tax—the tampon tax—amounts to
denial of equal protection under the Constitution.

In forging these claims, a question emerges:

How can we recognize that barriers to menstrual access are
a form of sex discrimination without erasing the lived
experiences of trans men and non-binary people who
menstruate, as well as women who don't?

https://www.cityweekly.net/utah/seeing-red/Content?oid=14700860

Why would women carry a fetus to term, only to have

Dying during enviromental-based disasters has become a reality.

In 2020 storms are listed as deadly.

Man-made contributors to disasters have only become multiplied.

The children of this age are crying out- "Adults are destroying our future!"

You must elect adults within the system.
The current system is overrun by corruption."

Federal appeals court tosses landmark youth climate lawsuit

January 17, 2020

A federal appeals court on Friday threw out a 2015 lawsuit
by nearly two dozen young people to force the U.S. government
to take more aggressive action on climate change, saying that
the children did not have legal standing to bring the landmark
case.

Judge Andrew D. Hurwitz wrote that the plaintiffs had
“made a compelling case that action is needed” to slash
the greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global
warming. But the three-judge panel of the U.S. Court
of Appeals for the 9th Circuit ruled 2 to 1 that the courts
were not the place to compel such action.

“We reluctantly conclude, however, that the plaintiffs’
case must be made to the political branches or to the
electorate at large, the latter of which can change the
composition of the political branches through the ballot
box,” Hurwitz wrote.

Everything here is based on the presumption that not being able to force others to provide for you, not being allowed to violate their freedoms and private property is the same as being oppressed and having your rights violated.

Someone ought to inform Vox and it's audience of bimbo feminist that they don't have a right to violate others freedom and access to their property/labor.

There are a few factors making the future worse for a while then better in the very long run. Christianity is in the rabid lunatic phase of any dying religion. The fundies may have decades of shouting left before they STFU. Overpopulation meeting crashing food supply will force another perspective on "sanctity of life." With almost all of the population now living in huge cities or suburbs and many of them lost in their screen worlds or addictions, we don't have many healthy communities left. Rebuilding healthy communities is a long term project, with neighbors who are happy to provide childcare for single parents and healthcare workers who work without interference from fundies or corporations.

This year’s rally comes just weeks before the U.S. Supreme

whether the court — more conservative since the arrival of
Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh — is now willing

If you’ve ever seen The Stepford Wives, you’ll have some sense
of the ideals of a movement encouraging women to take up what
they claim to be the traditional role of women, as mothers and
homemakers.

The Tradwife agenda not only pushes the idea that a woman’s
place is in the kitchen, but also requires wives to obey their
husbands, leaving the men to make the decisions.

Incredibly, many of those espousing this lifestyle are women,

Burns Night celebrates the wrong Scottish poet

- Stuart Kelly

The bard honoured on 25 January was a fine writer,
but he also treated women appallingly. I can think of
at least one other Scots author more worthy of a
national festival

This is a letter from Burns to his friend Robert Ainslie,
on 3 March 1788. Burns had returned from Edinburgh
and taken up again with Jean Armour, who might be
described as his common-law wife and was the mother
of his children. Burns had just written one of his
greatest poems, Ae Fond Kiss, for his “Clarinda”,
Agnes MacLehose, whom he had been wooing in
Edinburgh and whose servant he had seduced.
I suppose I should now write “trigger warning”

But – as I always am on every occasion – I have been prudent
and cautious to an astounding degree; I swore her, privately
and solemnly, never to attempt any claim on me as a husband,
even though anybody should persuade her she had such a claim,
which she has not, neither during my life nor after my death.
She did all this like a good girl, and I took the opportunity of
some dry horse litter and gave her such a thundering scalade
that electrified the very marrow of her bones”.

“Scalade” is an odd word. It is a variant of the word “escalade”,
which means the forceful breaching of enemy defences by ladders.
It is not a word that implies consent: it appears in A Military
Dictionary of 1778; and in Bishop Burnet’s Travels Through
France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland of 1750 where he
discusses how Geneva would have “but a short Resistance”
against a scalade. Jean Armour was eight-and-a-half months
pregnant when “rantin’, rovin’ Robin” so charmingly
“electrified the very marrow of her bones”. The twins
she was carrying were stillborn. There is no poem on
their deaths.

Let us suppose that this letter is just “locker room banter”.
It is still deplorable.

Alabama state Rep. Yolanda Hollis proves that Sen. Ted Cruz
is a hypocrite

Rep. Hollis filed a bill that would force men to get vasectomies
at age 50 or after their third child—and yes, it was a direct
response to Alabama’s extreme abortion ban. But Cruz didn’t
get that, tweeting a link to a conservative website’s coverage
of the bill with the hot take-

“Yikes. A government big enough to give you everything
is big enough to take everything…literally!

Alabama Democrat proposes bill mandating all men have
vasectomy at age 50 or after third child.”(and pay for the
operation, themeselves!)

Republican hypocrisy on this point is nothing new.
Republicans absolutely, 100% think they should be
able to legislate women’s bodies while men’s bodies
remain inviolate. But come on, guys, at least learn to
see the moments when, if “women” was replaced with

Alabama bill forcing men to get vasectomies at 50:
Sen. Ted Cruz responds

The measure by Rep. Rolanda Hollis, D-Birmingham,
would require Alabama men to get a vasectomy once
they reach 50 or father three children. Men would
have to pay for the vasectomies themselves,
according to the bill.

Hollis defended her measure, saying it was in response
to last year’s passage of Alabama’s strict anti-abortion
law. The law would make it a crime for a physician to
perform the procedure, limiting abortions to cases
where the life of the mother is in danger.

“The vasectomy bill is to help with the reproductive
system, and yes, it is to neutralize the abortion ban bill ...
it always takes two to tango," Hollis said.

“We can’t put all the responsibility on women."

" Men need to be responsible also.”
