I find myself really wanting to flirt with women who are good at chess, does anyone else experience similar feelings?

It's an intellectual and sexual turn on for some reason!

Wow! I guess anything can be a turn on.

If you are looking for volunteers you might want to specify what you mean by "good". You are unlikely to stumble on a grandmaster, but at least give the rating range you are looking for.

Good suggestion, anyone who can keep me engaged and my rating is quite low these days.
So I would say anyone who is 1200+ in classical is good :)

Yes definitely. I was on a college chess team. There were a couple of girls on the team too -- they were much in demand

Yes! Woman who are intelligent and can think strategically is a huge turn on to me. Always has been. If they are confident in their knowledge the arousal increases exponentially!

I only have one thing to add...

Anya Taylor-Joy in The Queen's Gambit.

How many times have I imagined being her pet. Kneeling next to her at her marches. She wins and needs to grind an orgasm on my mouth to exult in her dominance.

Does it have to be chess?
I used to be on the chess team (consistently ranked 3rd).
However, since then I've found much more joy in playing games with some hidden information and randomness mixed in with the strategy :)

Once a Chess player, always a Chess player and it's more about a certain type of intellect. So yes, other games do count. Would love to know more about those games.

There are so many to choose from! The world of board and card games has expanded dramatically since around the early 90s or so. I enjoy most of them.

In terms of something that could be seen as a more interesting intellectual challenge though, I would point to collectable card games. The way they have so many different concepts and moving parts that interact in complex ways can be very (mentally) stimulating. And it's not just the individual games - it takes a different kind of mindset to build good decks to use. I used to play Magic The Gathering in real life, but have enjoyed the mobile game "Eternal - The Card Game" even more :)

@LoneMilf please tell us more! I've always been fascinated by Magic the Gathering...but from afar (group of guys used to play it all the time in the cafeteria). for starters... what is like the mechanism that ensures the game is played on an even playing field? I mean...you can't just get lucky and find some killer card in a pack then go on an unstoppable rampage.

note: the only card game I play is Munchkins ... so that's kinda my level -- you may need to explain things very slowly to me :)

Magic the Gathering (MtG) has a number of ways it balances the game.

The most fundamental, is that each card costs 'mana' to use - the more powerful the card, the more mana (which basically means you get to play it later/less often). There are still some cards that are objectively better than others, but it significantly reduces the effect of someone having better cards or just being more lucky in their draws.

Furthermore, there are a lot of different ways of playing MtG, and in most formats, there are restrictions on which cards you can use in your decks and how many of each kind. In many cases, this includes a list of cards that are simply banned because they are too powerful.

Things will never be perfectly balanced in a game with 1000s of interacting card effects, but the unstoppable rampage does not come from a single good card - it requires a well-designed deck and a bit of luck :)
