A little while ago I was surfing the radio, and came across a station talking about women and homosexuals in the military. A woman on the show said that women and homosexuals do not belong in the military, that the Bible was against it. So I got my Bible out and lo and behold.........nothing. Not a single word on the subject of women and homosexuals in the military.
Now this makes me angry because I am so tired of hearing about these two subjects. I have been in the military for 7yrs and have had to put up with alot. I don't ask for special favors or say I can't do it. Being female I have heard it all...you need to be in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant; or females are too emotional. I do my job and do it well. I work hard to push aside the image that people cast on females by doing basically everything a male does in the military. I am realistic and know there are limitations to what I can do...but I do my damnist to do it anyway.
