She is young,I take it?

Stop trying to explain, show her instead of tell her,and let this ride over.

Your GF...

...seems to have problems separating reality from fantasy. She realized the film was not a documentary, right?

Hmmm...ultimately, this could all work to your advantage if she is truly unable to make that distinction.

I have some ideas.

Women arent nuts.

Little girls like your girl friend are though.

Women aren't nuts

They rule.

And I don't think this fine lady as described is nuts either. She's just enjoying multi-dimentional reality.

And I'm sure she has a lovely mind to explore...

not wierd just hard to understand how their minds work

A very good explaination.

How did this become a woman bashing thread?

I've never watched a movie and then took it out on my partner.

Sheesh...

i think it was just that she saw a perfect guy which for some strange reason she sees in me and he was capable of cheating so she gave me preemptive guilt

Okay, maybe I am slow here, but if imptuner would use punctuation, this post would be easier to read. This is one heck of a long run on sentence!

If his RL GF is taking a movie out on him, she needs some serious help!

honestly, she wanted to hear you say you would never do anything like that. my other comment was just a joke. Women do need reassurance sometimes.

i think its a good movie, teaches guys, now you know not to cheat on your girlfriend......hahahahh good movie

What was all of that? A little punctuation might even make that opening post readable...

That Happens to me all the time too....Its funny but if we are watching tv my wife will put all of the male faults on me and get angry. I have seen this not only in her but many other ex-GFS too. Sometimes it ges so far as for me to get a slap on the arm when a movie charichture cheats in a movie....LOL i take it as fun but it gets annoying

I know what you mean. Unfortunately I don't have the patience to put up with jealousy like that. That's one of the first things I make clear to a potential gf: If they can't keep their jealousy under control, then I don't need them.

Has anyone else but me noticed that these guys who just want to bitch about their girlfriends also seem incapable of using appropriate punctuation?

theres nothing wrong...

with your g/f. There are things we see on the screen that we wish we could do or wish we were...and there are things which play on our fears and tease out our insecurities....I get it sometimes when I watch "cheaters." hmmm..she said she was going out with friends for dinner....when in fact she visited her other friend for an evening of passion. My wife goes out for dinner with friends and sometimes watching shows like that or films or whatever asks questions in us and stirs up old memories which we have buried or forgotten in time. Intense stuff is media and your g/f is only vunerable to watch she see's a little more than others...comes mainly from sensitivity...not paranoia...and to have an emotionally open and sensitive partner is a god thing..so just give it a few days, weeks or whatever and it will all slide..just like it did when she started blarting during titanic!! :)
