Wolf Call (open)

[Dthera]

"Nooo.....Leave me alone.....Ugh" I call out in my dreams, speaking while sleep. "I'm not one of you, I'm Human!!!!!! Father, mother please don't leave me.....I'm your son.........You bastard you killed my family...........No leave Cathrine alone.......don't touch her.....No.......AARGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I sit up startled by my nightmares. "Damn it.......only a dream though." I say to myself i then look at my surroundings and take in the whole reality of it. I smell what i think is a wolf but it could have been a remnant of one of the dead wolves stench.

"Foul creatures............." was all i say as i run my hands under the cold water dripping from the ceiling i wash my eyes of sleep and then rub some over my hair.

Nital was surprised to here him cry out in his sleep. he looked shaken. She moved closer silently. She wanted to know why he hated their kind so much. He was one of them.

She had to admit he wasn't hard to look at. In fact he was handsome.

 

[IrishPitchford]

I awaken alone in this huge bed...not a person in sight....."I guess she had to take care of something." I say outloud to myself.

I then go down the stairs and into the family room, I spot Chani watching cartoons.
"Good morning sweetie." I say while I sit down next to the beautiful lil girl. "Where'd your mommy go on this fine morning?"

Chani looke dup at Valen and frowned. She didn't know where her mother had gone off to.

 

[IrishPitchford]

'Well sweetie, what can I make you for breakfast?...you hungry?"I say to her as I stand up and start to walk to the kitchen...."You have to eat something before you continue anything else. You must have your strength for the day."

Chani hopped up and followed. she made rings withher hands meaning she wanted pancakes. at seven yr old she was tall for her age and walked over to the fridge and grabbed the carton of juice.

 

[Dthera]

I pull my black shirt and pants on. the black turtle neck rolled down slightly and my silver celtic cross necklace hung out my shirt. I then strapped on my Cross Bow which was in it's holster. I then grabbed my leather jacket and glasses which i used to conceal my electric blue eyes from the world. inside my jacket was 20 silver cross bow bolts which where my prefered choice of weapon and ammunition. Not knowing i was being i watched i then went over to a wall covered in pictures. Saying a silent pray i walk away down the tunnel that would take me to the surface, my hunting ground.

 

[IrishPitchford]

"So you want pancakes today....I guess you never get tireg of them...maybe it's because I make it exactly how you like it." Valen says to Chani as they walk into the kitchen.
I've been around this lil girl since she was born, I love her to death, and understood everything she wanted and needed. She was like mine and Nital's daughter. All the Shadows loves her.

 

[AngelofDeath]

As he passed her Nital stepped out, in front of him. "You're family was killed by wolves?" She stood there hands out, "i'm unarmed, haha. Kill me if you wish, but know my daughter will seek revenge when she's older if Valen does not kill you."

 

[Dthera]

"Children are innocent............do you honestly think your daughter would seek me out?" i say pulling my crossbow out threateningly. "But I don't kill unarmed mothers.........I'm not that cold blooded."

 

[AngelofDeath]

"Yes i do. and I did say when she was older, if it didn't kill her to lose me. Chani is different from the rest of us."

Nital smiled. "So tell me if you hate us so much then why stay where there are close to over a thousand werewolves, known and unknown."

 

[IrishPitchford]

Chani and I go outside after breakfast to take a morning walk to the park. Chani desides to be brave when I turn my head, as she runs away somewhere.....

I keep yelling out for her, trying to keep my cool and not turn into my wereself.....

I look desperatly all over for her......

 

[Dthera]

"why does the hunter go into the jungle? for his health? No he goes into the jungle to hunt. I've been fortunate in finding ones such as Styles, he's a good hunter for a human. Why are you here anyway?" i asked after speaking to her. "And you Know, Nital was it? that i don't care if your armed or not, you can become a very powerful weapon yourself in a mere thought." I said before pushing her out of my way and continueing up to the surface.

 

[AngelofDeath]

Nital followed, "True, but I havent attacked yet." As she got out she heard Valen calling for Chani. "No." she said aloud. She ran over and grabbed Valen's arm, "Where is she? Valen u know how she likes to wander off on her own." She let her go and began calling her daughter's name and looking for her.

After several minutes Nital was on the verge of tears. She passed a bush and saw one of Chani's ribbons caught in it. She grabbed it and as she didi she caught the scent of blood.

Without looking at her hand she screamedout, "Valen!!"

 

[Dthera]

I was concerned for the little girl but i had to do my duties, Valen and Nital where going frantic though looking for the girl, i continued my walk through the park and heard a muffled scream. I followed it sure that the two Shadows couldn't hear it. I saw two Ice wolves carrying the girl away, she was crying very hard. Enraged by the Ice wolf cowards for taking children as food, i pulled out my cross bow and ran after them. "Drop her right Now!" I yelled at them, my bow pointed at the closest one to me.

 

[AngelofDeath]

Nital looked at the area and caught the scent of two ice clan memebers. They never came inot the city. Growling she followed the scent too see her daughter in the arms of one. He looked thin and haggard. "Drop her right now!!" Nital said growling.

The one thing more dangerous that a pregnant wer was a mad mother.

Her eyes where glowing brigth and she could feel herself shifting. "If you don't want to die, let my daughter GO!!!"

 

[IrishPitchford]

Nital took off running before I could respond. I then hear from a short distance Nital screaming out in rage, I then run over to her side and spot two members of the ice clan. My sadness then turns to rage.....
I yell out for them to let her go to take me instead....

 

[Dthera]

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Nital your ruining my fun and cramping my style." I said as i kept my bow trained on the closer ice wolf. "Whens Valen going to take me other prey from me i wonder?" I said being very sarcastic but i realized that Valen was emerging from the bushes and she glared at the two wolfs.

"Let us go or the girl dies here and now!" one of the wolfs said in a russian type of accent.

"You know what, i hate werewolves but i really hate those that prey UPON THE INNOCENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted retraining my cross bow on the one holding the crying girl. I let fly and the man droped to the ground with one of my bolts protruding from one of his eyes. I then changed in wolf form and was on the other one before it could react, ripping it's throat out and having his wind pipe hang from my jaws as a piece of steak which i quickly spit out. Changing back into human form i move to the crying Chani. "Are you okay little one?" i ask in a compassionate voice that sets both Nital and Valen's eyes wide in shock at my public display of compassion.

 

[AngelofDeath]

The two ices looked at the three of them beofre practically dropping Chani and running off. Chani was crying her face red and covered with tears.

Nital shifted back and went to her. "chani why? Why didi you leave like that?"

Chani wiped at her face and pointed at her. She had wanted her mother.

"Oh baby." Nital pulled her into her arms and Chani wrapped her legs and arms around her.

Normally a wer even a child at age 5 could change, but Chani was different. She hadn't changed once since her birth.

 

[IrishPitchford]

"Chani, you scarded the shit out of your mother and I...we love you so much and don't ever want to loose you. Now you have to obey us and stay by our side. There are crazy people in this world that are just waiting out there to get there greedy paws on young children. You must stay close to us."

"And for you," turning and looking at Jim, "Thanx."

Chani sniffled softly and nodded. She turned her head to look at Jim and said, "Lonely."

Both Nital and Valen gasped. Chani had never spoken before.

 

[Dthera]

I began to walk away resheathing my crossbow and putting my shades back on.

 

[IrishPitchford]

Speaking to Nital I say, "We must stop him, there's something about him...shit! Chani spoke for the first time in her life....we can't let him go."

 

[AngelofDeath]

"Wait a second." Nital caught up with him. "You should be honored. Chani has never said a word before. and thank you for helping. She can't change. I don't knw fi tis becaus eof her father or the tramua of her birth. I don't think I could live without her. And don't spout that children are innocent bullshit with me. Either you want my thanks or not."

 

[Dthera]

"grrrrr Thank you, and consider your daughter lucky............" was all i said before continuing my walk, pushing right past nital.
