Singer At After Life
Luna Wolff was an extremely happy young woman who had an easy life, but she worked hard for everything that she got. She had a comfortable life since her mother was a writer, and her father was a doctor. Unfortunately, she met River in bad circumstances. At that time, he was a police officer, he came to her to let her know that her parents died in a car crash. The car that hit them was going sixty on a thirty mile an hour road and they died instantly, the driver walked away with only bumps and bruises because he was drunk. It was the moment she thought her life would end. She was depressed and sad and even though both her parents had life insurance she could live off; she wanted them there with her. She was only seventeen when they were killed, she was not ready to live alone.
But fate had other ideas for her which would be a great idea further down the road. He came back to check on her and every time he came over, she made coffee, and they would talk for a couple of hours, until finally they ended up becoming wonderful friends, best friends. And he did not have much when it came to a friend, since all he had was his sister and her kids. Luna was happy to have him in her life and when he could not come over, she got a holo from him, everyday which was nice of him. She was working on the day it happened; she was singing at Afterlife when she had a bad feeling deep in her gut. She had no idea at that time he was being shot up. She had no ideas the Tiger Claws had surrounded him while he was investigating something. They kicked the crap out of River then shot him three times.
One in the face which took out his eye and shot up his dominate hand three times, they left him for dead. But thankfully about a year ago Luna begged him to get one of those plans where if the ambulance feels you are in danger they come to where you are and take you to the hospital or to a ripper doctor, depending on the situation. She got done with half her set for the night when she got a holo, it was from Vicktor which had been a friend of hers. Luna had some work done on her by him, so he knew her number well enough. She answered the holo and got the shock of her life, River had been shot up and was stable and needed someone to take him home and watch him for the night. Luna did not like the situation he was in, but she shook her head, telling him she would be there soon. She told her job she had an emergency and took her car over.
Luna came over and went in the back, talking to Vicktor she made sure that he had the best cyber ware for his eye and his hand, and she was willing to pay for it. Not like she was doing much with the money and knew the best cyber ware was a lot of money. But she was willing to pay, and she did pay for it all. Going in the back she took a deep breath and when she saw the shape he was in, it scared the hell out of her “Oh River” she said softly he was asleep, and the situation brought tears to her eyes. Sitting beside him waiting for him to wake up, until finally he started to wake up. She had his robotic hand in hers and when he woke up, she saw his eye. Luna smiled at him once his eye opened Luna reached up stroking his cheek a smile on her face. She hoped everything would go all right since she knew it only took hours for transplantation to take hold.
“I am here to take you home River, Vicktor wants me to watch out for you tonight to make sure everything holds.” Luna said with a smile “I was surprised you put me down as your emergency contact would have thought your sister would have been called, but I am happy you put me down” Luna gave him a smile. “Everything will be okay River I promise” She felt nothing bad would happen, enjoying his company always. She brought him back to her place and helped him get inside and on the couch. “Can I get you anything River?” Luna asked wanting to make him comfortable.
