I donā€™t know what was going on with the chicken, I never ever get food poisoning. I mean, it looked fine, the date was fineā€¦but apparently my digestive system had many other ideas. Cue a few veryyyy glamorous few hours spent alternating between the toilet throwing up and absolutely devouring The Teacher by Freida McFadden. (Highly recommend. Great pacing. Still unclear if it pairs well with nausea.)

Woke up this morning weirdly refreshed (??) maybe I needed a purge, who knows. I had actually intended to visit the farmers market this morning, but gave it a miss in the end. Today, I SHALL be lazy šŸ¤£ I was only going for raspberries to make another round of jam, and frankly, Iā€™m at capacity. Thereā€™s only so much sterilising, stirring and ladling one can do before the repetition becomes monotonous šŸ«¢.
