So glad you can have a smile on your face when you think of him.Not to kill the vibe completely, but I just realised itās Fatherās Day weekend. Which means means a lot of things to a lot of people.
My dad was far from perfect. He made a lot of choices that hurt, mostly himself. I was put into foster care aged 6 months and adopted very quickly. But he was still my dad.
And when I was 9, just out of prison, he made one final, fatal choice: one last party. That was it. He ended up on life support, and he never came back.
He was a fucking great man and without him I wouldnāt have learned to love The Clash, Black Flag, Madness, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, The Toasters, Dead Kennedys and many many more. I would give my left arm for him to be here still.
