I definitely needed the sleep. Someday I will be smart enough to go to bed early enough to get 8 hours of sleep but that will not be soon.

I'm actually not a huge Chinese food fan. On the rare occasion that I get Chinese food I go for orange chicken, fried rice, and maybe some crab rangoons. I'm much more likely to order Thai or Italian.

What's your go to for takeout?
 
I wish I had a nice New Years Celebration, but it was super low-key as I had work the next day. Didn't really feel super celebratory but I watched the ball drop and just relaxed my way into the new year.

Yeah, good to have some focus for the year, whether it pans out or not.

The pop up party was amazing, would love to go to something like that again. Also had a friend who had a roof party once in London, fireworks were amazing

Did anyone do any New Year traditions or have any superstitions? grapes under the table for luck, pouring molten lead into water (Latvian NYE tradition) , first-footer, manifesting, jumping into the sea, banging pots and pans, anything like that?

Do you have any resolutions for the year ahead?

I for one, spent half the night with the fam, I cooked beef bourguignon (hairy bikers recipe), polished off a bottle of champagne then went to a friends who was hosting: many cocktails and games of cards were played and then we all melted lead and poured the hot liquid into cold water. Whatever shape the lead makes is meant to signal what your year ahead will look like šŸ„°.
For example:
  • Ring / circleā€¦ marriage, commitment
  • Boat / wave / airplane etc
  • ā€¦ travel, change
  • Animalā€¦ traits youā€™ll need (strength, caution, personality of a new partnerā€¦)
  • Sharp or broken shapesā€¦. obstacles, conflict, instability
My shape was very circular with little sharp spikes coming off of it. Iā€™m still yet figuring out what this means šŸ˜‚

I had a quiet mellow evening shared with a little Jack on the rocks. So good to see you here again. I have a few ideas of what you can do with those spikes. I do hope all is well with your beautiful self. Your magical presence was missed, very much so.

there is never enough time to have a good sleep and do everything that needs doing in a dayā€¦ no matter how hard you try. I either finish everything and get no sleep or I try and get an early night and donā€™t sleep well so the next day is harder šŸ™„

I agree on the Chinese front I much prefer Indian or Thai for a takeaway. Italian is for eating out in my opinionā€¦ pasta/pizza is much better when itā€™s fresh šŸ˜ Thai is also amazing, I love an extra spicy pad kee mau or pad krapowā€¦ Thai basil is delicious!

I feel as though this is one of those dishes that tastes much better than it sounds? I love tuna. I Love rice. I love peas. Never tried them together though (tuna and rice yes, not with the peas.) Iā€™m glad you enjoyed! šŸ˜šŸ˜

There is a reason behind the name ;)

Ahah and thankyouuu very much! I am a bit of a chameleon when it comes to makeup/hair etc you never know which bean youā€™re going to get. Ie; cosy natural, a lil gothic look, lashes and red lips, chains and lots of rings etc etcā€¦ I love not having just one ā€œlookā€ šŸ„°
