Well, I am human enough to say thankfully I was wrong about my fear/prognostication.

At least by the gold medal count. We can't blame Americans choking on "badwill".

They should still investigate that French figure skating judge.

The judging in some of the snowboarding events was suspect af as well.

I would also point out that some non-American judges may have scored American athletes higher to gain favor with Trump.

It works both ways.

My main point was that geopolitics, etc, HAVE played into the scoring of judged competitions historically.

US Women's curling heartbreaker. That 3 point end for Canada really served as the nail in the coffin.

Shut out of medals again. One of the best teams in our Olympic history.
