Right.

NaNo is finished (all banana's whoops and kisses gratefully accept) and I am now about to start on my Christmas story.

Hopefully, I'll be joining you all soon in the worrying about my score stakes! :nana:

I already voted. How many shy are you?

I noticed -- THANK YOU.

I had qualified -- then lost over half of my votes in a sweep. (Trolling, anyone?) Have collected a few since, but I'm still shy 9 votes.

If you're still short when I get home I'll be glad to ask some of my regular readers to take a loook. Can't promise high votes, but some might respond.

good luck

Perhaps. The kids are on break from school -- so quiet time will be VERY limited for the next 10 days. Plus, I've a sappy poem that wants out. *sigh*

I'll never know.

Nano lends itself to a certain kind of author. to some, it's really impossible. I alwys think of raphy here. In his works, every word is considered. He will sit there for long stretches deciding if exploded or mushroome was precisely the fit he wanted.

To nano, youhave to be able to let go of yourself and just write. right word, wrong word, less than perfect word, no consequence. Some people just cannot do that.

I think you and cloudy are closer to raphy, you want it to be right the first time and that kind of writing is time intensive.

Another kind of writer who has trouble with Nano is the one who uses a spartan writing style. they have to tell a much longer, more involved and more complex tale than those of us with diareeha of the fingers :)

ah colly, love, you give me hope. maybe next year?
i have no problems using wrong words, as most here can attest to...id love to write a novel but i always write myself into a corner. STILL have Gunther the garbage man lingering in a castrati's bathroom, waiting for the gumption to ask him out on a date. very twisted mind, have i.
