Wilson, the volleyball from 'Cast Away' was sold at auction for $18,400. Isn't is absurd that some people have that much money to spend on trivia. I think it's ridiculous when there are, in my opinion, many other better choices to donate the money.

Now, if they paid that much for someone's panties that would be different.

Why does it bother people what the rich and wealthy spend their money on? I mean it is their money and they can donate it or spend 10,000 on having their sea monkeys cloned. What makes us so special we feel indignation at how others spend THEIR money.

In the same token, why not tell the poor how to spend their money. That would sure cut down on the number of Camaros up on blocks in front yards, tattoos, and beer purchases.

What up wit dat? I mean turnabout is fair play. Can you just hear the waves of backlash against this idea?

Ambro... Budy ole pall.... You do have a point there.. there is just one problem. The people that you mentioned as having the Camaros up on blocks in front yards, tattoos, and beer purchases, are of a proud race of people.. they work for their money and are proud to show what they can do with it.. The More cars that are on blocks in the front yard is a sign of how wealthy they are.. and the same with the Tatts too..Now as for me i have neither of these3 things cause there isn't a Job around where I live that I'm Qualified for.. I'm usually Overqualified, at least thta is what the Job Maket here says.. so I have to look else where to get the money to buy the cars to put on Blocks in my front yard..:D

P.S. I'm getting so frustrated with the people in this fucking toun that I'm about to become a prostitute just to pay my house payment... ANY TAKERS????? :D

I hope you aren't serious. I remember you saying you lost your job right before Christmas. You probably don't want to hear this, but that was only a few weeks ago. Not a lot of companies hire during the holidays. If you're having problems getting interviews, etc. it could just be that.

I don't know what you do for a living, but have you posted your resume to the internet sites for job hunters? Fixed up your resume? Answered every newspaper ad you can find for jobs you may want? Started networking with people you know who can put you in touch with other people? Every job I've had since college came from networking. The internet wasn't really going much the last time I swiched jobs- it was still trips to the library for information on companies back then. But I'd imagine now there would be so much you could do right from home on the Internet.

Anyone a member here with an HR background? Seems like we have more than a few people who could use some help with job hunting ideas.
