Absolutely agree with everything you said! It's incredibly draining because it could have all been avoided by preventing him from a slithering back into government. The Iranian people have suffered through brutal regimes. The felon and his cronies clearly didn’t think this through, and it’s frustrating how often innocent lives become just numbers in someone else’s war. Your voice matters, even if you can't vote here, this affects the whole world.
Thing is..
The old way of democracy has changed into something I have a hard time recognising.
The leaders are no longer leaders of a nation, trying to work together, ensuring safety, peace and prosperity for everyone.
It has become personal, lead by momentarily feelings and greed.
Some trying to avoid being charged with crimes that would tear them down from the pedestal of power.
Some wanting to be made eternal and turned into legends...
Most of them might become legends, but depending on who wins the wars, it might not be as positive and glorious as they themselves hope.
Again, if they win the wars.. they can try to reduce the importance of the killings, and the sheer numbers of dead in their tails.
But, politics is no longer a job, where people tried to do what is best for their countries.
Politics is a way to gain fame, become immortalised, gaining unlimited power, make oneself richer than anyone can comprehend.
Look at the leaders of the countries in war right now, the aggressors.. what do they have in common.
.... My voice?
I cannot change anything. I am not grandiose enough to believe such folly.
But I care. I care about those who does not have to ability, opportunity.. have any ways at all to communicate.
As it is right now.. no one can communicate with Iran. No information can come out.. it is locked in a death grip.
Just like other areas, countries.. people..
They cannot use their voices!
