Will We strike Fordo? Update: We did

Absolutely agree with everything you said! It's incredibly draining because it could have all been avoided by preventing him from a slithering back into government. The Iranian people have suffered through brutal regimes. The felon and his cronies clearly didn’t think this through, and it’s frustrating how often innocent lives become just numbers in someone else’s war. Your voice matters, even if you can't vote here, this affects the whole world.

Thing is..

The old way of democracy has changed into something I have a hard time recognising.

The leaders are no longer leaders of a nation, trying to work together, ensuring safety, peace and prosperity for everyone.

It has become personal, lead by momentarily feelings and greed.
Some trying to avoid being charged with crimes that would tear them down from the pedestal of power.
Some wanting to be made eternal and turned into legends...

Most of them might become legends, but depending on who wins the wars, it might not be as positive and glorious as they themselves hope.
Again, if they win the wars.. they can try to reduce the importance of the killings, and the sheer numbers of dead in their tails.

But, politics is no longer a job, where people tried to do what is best for their countries.

Politics is a way to gain fame, become immortalised, gaining unlimited power, make oneself richer than anyone can comprehend.

Look at the leaders of the countries in war right now, the aggressors.. what do they have in common.

.... My voice?

I cannot change anything. I am not grandiose enough to believe such folly.
But I care. I care about those who does not have to ability, opportunity.. have any ways at all to communicate.

As it is right now.. no one can communicate with Iran. No information can come out.. it is locked in a death grip.
Just like other areas, countries.. people..

They cannot use their voices!

I definitely understand. it really doesn’t feel like leadership is about serving people anymore, it’s about power and survival. And like you said, the ones without a voice are the ones stuck in the middle, paying the price. It’s frustrating to watch and feel like there’s nothing that folks can do.

Another thing that those countries (including USA) have in common is that when people speak up, the leader call in the military to silence them.

Round trip with aerial refueling. None of them landed or needed British permission.
I posted that before the strike. Reports were just coming out that B2s were headed for Guam or Diego Garcia, and it was reported by WSJ and other media that if a strike was launched from Diego Garcia, British permission would have been required. It’s a moot point now.

Already hearing the Muslim loving, Anti-Americans in Congress calling for Trump to impeached. Unfucking believable.
Was there absolute proof that Iran was close to a nuclear weapon? Or is this more Dick Cheney/Colin Powell proof?

I was all in back then. Then I grew up and realized governments lie to do what they want including invading other countries.

He deserves to be thrown out of office. Along with his inexperienced cosplaying sidekicks. The US does not need another mideast war that could have been prevented.
If it could have been prevented now, why has that government been sponsoring terrorists for the last 46 years? Diplomacy hasn't worked all this time, why do YOU think it would have worked now? Also, just mentioning, why are the only people crying foul from America? Think about that.

Nah don't try to clean up your ridiculous and ignorant "Muslim loving" comment because people grilled you on it.

Preventing war isn't the same as excusing a regime. Diplomacy kept things from spiraling for years, pulling out of the nuclear deal made things worse. And plenty of people outside of America are very concerned. They just don’t have the same media reach. Think about that. Get off Faux news, please.

Oh yes, THAT diplomacy. Like the bombing of US embassies, by Iran. Like the sinking of the Cole, by Iran. The bombing of barracks in Beirut, by Iran. I guess if you favor that sort of diplomacy, what will open your eyes? Blowing up YOUR city, by Iran?

Will we witness 300 dollar a barrel oil, maybe gasoline rationing at 7-10 dollars a gallon, what will the increase in fuel do at the grocery store....and so on........

Are you capable of not fear mongering everything?

Why is that?

What has changed in American political culture, to cause that kind of civic rot?
