President Joseph Robinette Biden how the hell a .9mm is more dangerous than a .45?

Is it just too foreign sounding to an out-of-touch old white guy?

Is he still resisting the Metric System?

Does he think it's a cannon?

Several decades ago I was having a discussion with a Yugoslav (Communist) border officer about the size of Gibraltar's guns.

I held my hands apart. He thought I was referring to the barrel length. I was indicating the bore size - about 12 inches.

Sounds sufficient to "blow your lungs out."

A .9mm will not, but please don't tell out President,
he's living happily in his fantasy land, riding his unicorn off into the rainbows...

A gun is not dangerous. It is an inanimate object. Comparing two inanimate objects is dumb

With "9mm vs .45 caliber", AJ is now at the point in "Dealin' with those pesky school massacres" where he tries to delve into firearm minutiae.
See also "but..but...pistol grips!" "Extended magazines are necessary for those with impaired vision and poor aim", and of course the never-ending battle of "semi-automatic vs. full automatic".

I've never picked up a gun in my life. What are the odds I could pick up an AR or pistol or <insert firearm name here> and pull the trigger enough to hit a bunch of moving objects randomly?

Should I invest in a better grip first?

Slim to none. Hitting a moving target requires either luck, skill or putting up a wall of lead.

As for 9 v 45, depends on distance. An argument can be made for the 9 but Biden wasn't doing that, he just didn't know better.

It looks like an adjective in that context.

Its its targets that are being restrained then thats fish in a barrel which is what most mass shootings are. Altho a little bullshit cuz anyone who has shot into water knows its easier said than done.

You need to paint everything black first. Then buy the shoulder thingy that goes up. Once you do that, your AR or pistol or random gun will be able to jump up and kill everyone all by itself.

BTW, it'll kill everyone twice in a row if you buy body armor at the time you do the gun purchase so don't do this because it sucks to be dead twice in 1 day.

You might need to release the safety first.

Instructions on how to fire (and field strip) any weapon are easily available on the internet.

A few minutes of research and you could fire any weapon.

So if I just hold down the trigger and wave the gun back and forth slowly after releasing the safety, with a large magazine, then the weapon doesn't do anything.

Got it.

Question - if guns don't do anything, then what's the deal with hunting with one?

Interesting. So what happens to the percentage of luck needed when you've got more bullets and restraining targets within a confined space?
Start with sporting clays using a 20 gage. Like anything it takes practice to get better but you’ll break some on your first outing. Then you’ll be hooked on the sport for life.

Confined spaces typically aren't outings, I'd gather. But I've got other hobbies more worthwhile and healthy.

There are 4 rules. 4 simple rules.

Obey the rules, like you obey the rules for driving a car, paying the check after dining out, and so on, and you'll be fine.

Unless your gun is painted black and has a shoulder thingy that goes up. Then all bets are off.

Hunting? With a gun? Why the hell would you do such a silly thing like take a gun into the woods to try and kill something with it? Don't you know all the game animals take vacations, starting right before hunting season begins, and there aren't any critters to shoot with a gun when you're hunting?

So the weapon doesn't do anything when I release the safety and pull the trigger.

Got it

Seems kinda a waste to use for self defense then

No one is forcing you to use one for any reason or purpose. So, if you don't want one, then don't get one.

I recommend you also post a sign to let everyone know that your home is gun free.

You are ignoring my point so wildly, it's entertaining.

Why do I need a gun for self defense, if the gun doesn't do anything?
