Why the interest in Survivor but not Big Bro? They're equally bad reality shows so why the discrimination?

I just want that bitch Amanda GONE!
For me it comes down to this:
Nature is a more challenging (and less tacky) environment and Survivor has an element of me feeling a great deal of sympathy for the struggles of the contestants, how they succumb to it and how they conquer it. I also adore the family visits.
I have watched some BB but I don't think being drunk on lawn chairs is the same sort of challenge or as endearing. I'd like to see Evel Dick starve a bit and then see if he's so Evel Dick.
Good answer. Truth be told, Survivor is simply more interesting, the exotic locations, the challenges. BB is just a study of the human psyche.

i've only watched survivor once during the first season and then only because my roommates girlfriends sister was in some commercial for the pontiac azteca or whatever that hideous piece of shit was called. i was not impressed. with the show anyway. the sister was kind of hot, though. way hotter than the other one.
also, jewish. not that that matters, really. just realized she was yet another hot jewish chick to add to the list.
