Yes, there are predators, and occassionally one will dissappear.

I missed the name change Jim, so I'm not sure who you are, but if Laurel and Manu hadn't of changed the system, I'd have a new name by now and less than 5000 posts.

Sounds very suspicous to me. I would not believe it to be a natural CATastrophe (sorry, couldn't resist). I find it hard to believe that this could/would be a natural occurrence. I would suspect foul play.
