Why do fill in words I never wrote?

Why do I miss obvious things?

Why do polar bears like ice fishing?

I was proofreading your post and I think you left out an I in your first question.
Basically it is a way to prove to yourself and others that for the most part people don't know what they are talking about. For the pain in the ass I suggest Preperation H.

Polar Bears like ice fishing much like some men like to give oral sex. They get to play in a hole and get a taste of what they desire.

i hate when i get a text message that clearly wasn't proofread.
is it REALLY that difficult to just cast your eyes over it once more before sending?

Ha. Yes. It is. I send texts all the time without reading them...

Exactly! Although since I rarely get text messages, I could be wrong.

When I did have someone to send messages to, I used to say I was going to send one through just as Swype insisted it was supposed to be. I never did, though. The thought of all those wrong words made my skin twitch.

It would have been interesting, though. Since I accidentally "okayed" a word that wasn't really English the first time I sent a text using it, the Swype vocabulary had a propensity toward Finnish.

Spelling words correctly is an indication of your character and intelligence.

and you call yourself a teacher?? for shaaaaaaame!

The best is when I send "ghetto-fied" texts to people I have known for years, like other teachers or high school friends or even my running coach. I'm like "Thnx dawg" and they're like "Are you drunk?"

Speaking of, I have a bad habit of drunk texting. I'm not sure why this happens. Usually I'm having a conversation with someone before I started drinking and it carries over to while I'm drinking.

When you did have someone to send messages to? I'm so tempted to send you my phone number so that I am able to receive hilarious swype messages from you and in return you can have all of my drunken ghetto texts.

i have a hunch your drunk texts would be epic, and hilarious :)

You should try proof reading my stuff.

Why do people care about typos if the still understand the message?

We have a language for a reason. Mistakes are one thing but simply not caring is a sign of ignorance and laziness. Not really surprising you and your "dad" don't think it's important.

not proofreading is akin to saying you don't care about your message.

and if you don't care, why should we?

If it is not business related I don't care.....

My admin is awesome and my emails go through her first. If you would like to proof my post before I submit please send me your references first.

Some people dwell on the little things...other don't.

I don't do business with people who have sloppy habits.
