He would like to cut Federal spending by 43% in the first year as president which would, in effect, balance the budget. He has articulated a plan to do it.

Also, he doesn't give a shit what goes on in your sexual life.

Of course, he is not going to get elected.

Of course, Congress would never let him cut spending by 43% even if he were elected.

But you know, I give him credit for throwing it ALL out there. I think everyone should fend for themselves, period.

If my absentee vote in NH hurts either Romney or Obama so be it.

Did you listen to him in the third party debates?

No. I would have liked to but coverage here was simply unavailable.

Might be available online somewhere. He was the best of the group and really the only one who seemed like he would fit in a debate with Romney and Obama.

I'd love to see more than two, viable, political parties.

I'm not counting the "Tea Party" as an option.

I wonder if we will ever move away from this Republican/Democrat dance.

Campaign finance reform will have to come first. No third party will ever be relevant with the Dems and Reps each having billion-dollar war chests.

A vote for Johnson is a vote thrown away. He will receive less then .05 % of the popular vote and nobody will even remember him nor what he stood for. Your throwaway vote for him will not be remembered as a protest vote. In fact, your vote for him is in reality a vote for whoever you think is the worst of the two candidates.

We had multiple parties back in the 1800s, and it wasnt the solution. It doesnt work for this reason: People wanna be on the winning team, and join with the party they sense is stronger. Two parties maintain a stable balance and dilute the influence of extremists.

Still trying to justify your vote for Obama?

Hey, guess who grew up in and went college in Ohio (goes back to an earlier thread).

Representational reform will have to come too.

Only with a perfect storm of circumstances did a third party finally become relevant in the UK, which adheres to the same winner takes all principle.

I want to see the next Gallup poll.

If Obama wins NH by 1 vote blame will be accepted.

I agree! My vote is going for Gary Johnson too

You are right.

There are a lot of Libertarians in NH. They've been there for a long time.

Is Johnson even on the ballot in Ohio?

Way to know your candidate...

I might be so bold as to suggest that you still may know more about him than Romney.

I remember how quickly the mob here got you to switch your vote.

Try selling that in the NY metro area right now.

I have a house full here in NJ because we were lucky enough to only be without power for two days. My daughter from NYC, My sister and brother-in-law from Montclaire NJ, my mother and father-in-law and their neighbor are all crashed here while we wait for power to be restored to their homes.

Of course, coming from Florida Recidiva and I are hurricane veterans. We just unpacked our Hurricane Emergency Box and promptly put it to use.

Yeah he was on my Ohio ballot. Along with Jill Stein (Green), Virgil Goode (Constitution Party), and the socialist guy.
