Through a recent serious experience and some not so serious past experiences it has come to my attentions why subs should be wiped off this earth. A sub is someone who wants to be controlled and debased, not loved, not liked, not seen as a human. Anything else is seen as weakness by the sub. Often subs appear to be, and are, intelligent, humane, and emotionally warm people. In fact they are devoid of the ability to love and care because they cannot love or care for themselves.
If you will not dominate and abuse a sub they will turn against you. With more ferocity than any a sadistic master could muster they will try to rip your throat out, humiliate you and dehumanize you because of their lack of satisfaction of being treated in a normal or kind manner. I see them as the Undead in the "Night of the Living Dead."
I am verklemt, discuss amongst yourself.

well hun... i am sorry you think and feel like that.. but it seems to me that you have had bad ones.. i am sorry for that. it can be a wonderful thing.. to be a sub.. and a dom.. if you find the right one..

wish you luck in life

But in any relationship where you are with the right person is wondrous

Hello Fallin Snow,
After Madison, WI I never wanted to see any snow again - but in your case I will most definitely make an exception.
Honey, that was my original statement and while I felt it at the time, I also stated it as a pot stirrer to get a discussion going, I have modified my position greatly. I think a declared D/s relationship is fine, not for me, but fine for those who want it.
My problem is with a person who wants to be debased, which I am told is not the same as being a sub, does not declare it and when her desires are unfulfilled turning her frustrations against her unknowing partner.
I gather we should classify a D/s relationship as functional and the other as dysfunctional.
I thank you for your good wishes and I am trying to become a good guy again, so people can stop calling me a moron. I never knew it but you can actually get tired of hearing that. :D

My review of Cocktail's Thread

Good character development.

Loved the plot. Started off angry, then had a non-stop parade of beautiful, smart and witty women, finished up with a slow burn revelation.

All in all, two thumbs up.

I aim to please. Thank you Mr. Ebert and like all your reviews it is a positive one - much appreciated right now by me. I especially liked the "non-stop parade of beautiful, smart and witty women."
Shouldn't there be a surprise ending?
Some of my best friends are almost Canadian by the way.
