I agree with this and switch between having a real av up and not depending on my comfort levels.

1) None of these freaks will ever show up at my door, it is impossible.

2) If by chance someone recognized me out in public somewhere and tried anything uncool :

a- While there are psychopaths out there, I am a WOMAN, and therefore a bigger psychopath than the average insane male.
b- While I speak fairly softly, I can scream extremely loudly.
c- I'm Fully trained to defend myself.
d- I'm fully trained to physically assault other people.


And sometimes I just don't want my damn pic up.

How about a real reason why. There's too many fucking crazy people hanging around here. It isn't safe anymore to get too personal here. *laughs* I don't think so. I moved far far away from home at my first opportunity. As far as my mother knows, I've only had two boyfriends my whole life (my ex-husband, and my current bf).

The few RL friends I've made here know I met my bf online, but none of them go to chat rooms, and some of them don't even own computers, so the chances of them finding me here are rather slim.

Still, better safe than sorry.
