Selective fire, or select fire, is the capability of a weapon to be adjusted to fire in semi-automatic, fully automatic, and/or burst mode.
Yet you repeatedly said selective fire did not include fully automatic fire.

The term "assault rifle" is a made-up propaganda term. What the left is really attacking here is all semi-automatic rifles, and standard use magazines or capacities of more than ten rounds, a technology that goes back over a hundred years. It will fail because these weapons are in common use and therefore constitutionally protected under the Second Amendment as defined by Heller, Bruen, and American history.

See here is where you are wrong yet again. Burst fire is FULL AUTO fire with a limited number of multiple rounds per single trigger pull. It is defined as burst to delineate it from unlimited full auto and limited rounds full auto.
