I also said I was wrong for talking to him after I read it all and saw what he had posted but I had no clue before then but I do now. I did post on this thread tonight about black women and white men but only to say he was wrong.

I also apologized (4 days ago) to Fun for making the joke that pissed her off to start with, I can and do admit when I am wrong and I was.

The thread ended up being the usual crew for these type of debates. I respect most of those that took the time to post thoughts on the subject matter.

The only thing I can even think of is that they have much more in the way of redeeming qualities than the racism can completely overshadow. Though thats generally not the case of the board's racists.

It'd be like a racist who gives millions of dollars to children's charities and cured polio or something. May be a rat bastard when it comes to treating a certain race but in other arenas a saint.

I no longer watch that Dr. G medical examiner show because she is racist. She said you could tell a persons race by their bone structure!!! How racist is that?! I mean, we have had it pounded into our heads that all people are the same inside and out and she dares say you can tell race by bone structure!!

it's not being racist it's just medical fact. the fact my facial bone structure differs in several characteristics to a caucasian person isn't me being racist it's just knowing what i see in the mirror. there is also a fact that a "black" persons bones are more dense than a "white" person. i'm not sure about other races i can just tell you what i know from looking in a mirror and picking up the odd medical fact.

I, personally, would prefer it if bad names just weren't used for anyone, ever but realistically, this isn't going to happen. As someone pointed out, all these kind of labeling names are nasty but that's the point of 'em.

I guess I'm an apologist, I make excuses for people, I try to create a comprimise and will more often than not try to plop myself firmly on the fence, because I'm not a great debater and really, all I want is peace.

I'm a Christian and as such I try not to hate, I also TRY and stand up against injustice when I see it but I can't be like Sean, planetqueen and Kyle because I just don't have that burning, pasionate thing going on. I'll stand up against an issue, but I won't stand up agnst a person. At the end of the day,I'm probably just way too nice and way to nieve. Oh well, I'm still young, I'll get jaded soon enough.

Many are able to note the slopes of foreheads, eyes, broad noses and such to detect where others originated from. You'd think it would be from dialect but I've witnessed some getting it down to city and country. Nothing racist about it at all. Just stuff like, "Colombia???" "Yes!" "I thought so!" *all in spanish of course

All very friendly talk - nothing racist just simply spot on within seconds.
