Why do you giggle with the racists?

Perhaps those that do not like reading my postings, and I am sure there are some. I mean not everybody can like everybody.

Well, of course and it would be a pretty boring existence if everyone liked everyone.
But putting someone like you on ignore is weird.


That particular person has a history of putting certain posters on ignore that he cannot argue with and calling you a litany of names wouldn't have the same effect as it would on calling someone like Kyle names.

To be honest, I actually enjoy sparring with folks like Ishmael. Most others are simply mouth-breathers, but conversing with Ish can be fun.

I also know a guy like Ish personally and we have the same kinds of talks.

I actually think Ish is really intelligent, so it saddens me when he resorts to cheap name-calling and racism.

See, my old man was a racist. He would come home every night sit at the dinner table and rant about blacks, Jews, Mexicans, and everything else. I mean every fucking night.

For me, I had not seen much of what you or Lady F were talking about the other day until she posted the links and started her ranting at me. Honestly I am here for the fluff and to have fun and had never seen most of those posts. I've only been back three months, I wasn't going to dig through history for things I didn't know existed.

Although I do have to say her message became lost when her ranting turned to calling me an ignorant redneck and stuff like that, you know bigoted statements based on ones heritage, very close to what she posted links of him doing to people.

Sadly I know and am related to people that are much worse in real life, that doesn't excuse any of it or make it ok but all I can say is honestly I didn't know the extend of it before. I knew about the issues with married people
but that was it really.

I do have to say I agree with English Lady, my grandfather was probably the worst racist I have ever known but as a little girl none of that mattered to me because he was my grandpa and I loved him and still do even if I do not agree with the things he said.
