Who are you?

I found Lit and the stories...I first went to chat, I didn't even know the boards were here. Now chat is a memory...

It is fun here, but it can be heartbreaking too as I've learned.

BTW...I am a single mom of a little girl...:)

I went into chat once. It was too chaotic for me.

In some ways I am fortunate because I don't have the time available to really get to know others - I do have some impressions of people, and people that I enjoy flirting and chatting with, but on the whole I can't imagine have a negative experience because I don't get to know people well enough for them to hurt me in any way. It is all very impersonal for me. Just fun and silly. On the flip side of that, I don't get to know any well enough to really enjoy them either.

I suppose it depends on why you are here. I know many are looking or seeking.

Hi! I am a single mom also, was told about Lit by a friend while we were having a conversation about written erotica. I carry a book with me for when I go to a doctor appointment and have to wait, (restaurants, oil changes etc.) although one can find alot of wrong people here to get tied up in, one can also find many 'diamonds', among a wealth of information and people to talk to. Anyway,I have thanked my friend profusely.... I love the stories and posts! LOL :D

I carry a book everywhere I go as well. I would be so relaxed from sitting a reading while waiting for the doctor that my blood pressure would be very low. They were always very concerned about me. I am naturally low, but they always considered me dangerously so - I just laughed and said it was because I spent all my waiting time reading.

Lit gives me a place to practice writing, not only for the Craft but also to keep my descriptive skills sharp. The more ways you can describe giving head without repeating yourself, the sharper your mind has to get. I've found a couple of threads and stories that are favorites, but I tend to make use of my limited time to write. As for RL, it's interesting how a bit of confidence here can translate into confidence there, too. Feeling good about yourself is sexy.

BTW, I'm a single guy. Engaged once, but never married, no kids... That's a big part of life I'm missing that I'd like to fill.

I always laugh at myself because I have a warped image of me in my mind. Usually women see themselves differently in their minds eye than others perceive them - and very rarely do women find themselves attractive (ie. they think they are too fat, too old, too something) - I have the opposite problem - meaning I still see myself as I did when I was nineteen and have all the same confidence I did then. So I have more confidence than is healthy at times - yet I have had many people tell me that is what drew them to me in the first place. Life is funny that way I suppose.

Perhaps you will find that lucky lady here. Many have.

I had to laugh at that. I've often felt that I've still got a 14 year old mind. Well, depending on the time of day, anywhere between 14 and 19. But you're right, without carrying a mirror around all day, most people will see themselves as they best remember themselves, or when they "came of age" if that makes sense. That's why the brain is the sexiest organ. Well, that is, unless you're holding it in your hands. I mean, that's just sick.
