Which of your stories are you the most satisfied with?

I'm proud of "Restoration" but I'm thrilled with "Ole Onebreast".

Hmmm. Different ones for different reasons. Everyone hates "Camlaan," but I remain very happy with it. "Letters from the Hesperus" made me very happy at the time, but it's been a while. Right now, I would have to say that one that I am polishing for submission.

That's the one (of yours) I'm happiest with too! :)

As far as mine... Spark, even though it's not highly rated.

I'd have to say Possession, my Halloween contest entry, even though it got bombed almost into oblivion right after the contest ended. S'okay, I still like it.

I've got a series called "Lost in Texas," which I've had on another site and will be submitting to literotica in the next week, that was more fun to write than anything else I've done and I still go back and read from time to time.

My Rainy Day Contest entry, 'Heather's Baptism' and 'Chocolate Sauce and Handcuffs' are my current favourites, although the one being currently edited, after co-writing with (anon for the moment), may well end up as another favourite.

Heather's Baptism

Chocolate Sauce and Handcuffs

I really liked "All Hallow's Eve" for being radically different than anything I had written before. It's one of only a few porn stories I have written for this site that I would consider trying to get published.

The critics, of course, hated it.

My Rainy Day Story Challenge submission ("Wetter Has Never Been Better") would probably be my most personally satisfying. But "Connecting Ch.01" and "Be-Musing" still rank WAY up there.

Don't have much submitted so far, but it's pretty much neck and neck between "The Tease" and "The Orange Slip".

mmmm, tough choice...

Guess I would agree with the Literotica voting public that The Little Carol Girl is my overall best story, but I had the most fun writing How to Write a Holiday Contest Story Entry. Alas, less than 1,000 people have viewed it!

I think I've said this before I but I'm in love with that av of yours. It is so freaking cute.

oops...

My story is The Little Candle Girl, NOT The Little Carol Girl. If you try to search for the latter, you won't find it!!

Sack, having one of many "Senior Moments"

;)

Hm. One of the ones most in line with my personal sexual fetishes that stimulates me well, I can't post here. :) I can say one I have still pending here, Love Play, is one I'm proud of because it took me so long to come up with a believable, loving ending and I desperately wanted one. I'm also proud of my contest entry, another one where the ending eluded me for a long time.

Kassiana's story...

Kassiana, your Holiday Contest entry ROCKS! Highly recommended to anyone!

I'd say "Obsession" simply because I'd like more people to read it. It's the longest of mine so far - not counting the 4 chapters of my "Harem" - and it's also the one which I look at and think "shit, I wrote that?"

Very disturbing though, so its got a really shit rating which has no hope of improving.

The Girl Next Door, and there are lots of reasons why. It was a clean break from my old style, where I'd just describe a scenario. This one had a proper plot that unfolded in a real place from a real time in history. I like the sex scene that takes place while the bombs are raining down on Berlin, and I like the possibilities it ends with. I'm currenly working on a sequel that should be even hotter than the first.

This is how I feel at the moment, but it'll probably change. As well as the sequel I'm in the process of writing a story called "The Devil's Trill". It takes its name from the piece of music by Tartini, which was inspired by a vision of the devil appearing at the bottom of his bed and challenging him to a musical duel. It's set in a New York orchestra, and the protagonist is a smalltown Aussie surf girl out of her depth, who receives some very sensual prompting in the direction of her dreams.

I'm waxing lyrical over this because I'm genuinely excited about it from a literary viewpoint. It's taking so long to do because it's the most ambitious thing I'll have ever written. It's going to be full of symbolism, and it also has a subtle dig at the potential of narrow religious beliefs to turn evil. This contradiction is reflected in the naming of the characters - Angela for the narrow-minded villainess, and Lucja for the heroine.

What else can I say about it? Sex scenes by candlelight over a baby grand, powercuts throughout New York City, torrential rainstorms, and lots of fumbled notes...

OK, that's my plug over ;) I'll announce on the new stories thread when it's posted  :rose:

Of my Lit stories, I'd think "Pasiphae" (because I wasn't even sure I could write it, let alone get it posted, let alone have it do so well). Or maybe "Spectral;" I'm really pleased with how that one turned out, stylistically and all.

"Do You Still Love Me" I think is still my best work. But "Day at the Beach: A new perspective" is still one of my favorites.

Don't make me get all possessive and jealous on you, Carson. I love that alpaca, and I'm convinced that it's waving its little yellow leaf just for me. Besides, these quadruped/biped things never work out anyway. Leave me to woo it with offerings of alfalfa and strawberries -

Definitely Innocent Pawn Ch.9. It was the first time I wrote a story that I was completely happy with, and when it was submitted, I didn't care if not one person liked it, because I did.

It is a story where the seducer [she] was being seduced also, and happily made the non-consent category because he wasn't happy about reliquishing control and being tied up!

I saw the title of this thread and the story jumped to mind immediately!

"Not What you see What you feel"

It's just my best story to date *L* Simple as that. It took a hell of a lot of writing too, it was a real grind at times but I love it now it's finished. :)

I am happiest with The Window because it was so damn complicated that when my thoughts finally coalesced I felt extreme satisfaction. Not to mention the person I wrote it for was . . .

As for my best work? It's always in front of me.

hrm
most satisfied? none of them
most fun with... Deluge (rainy day story)

the one that pulls my heart strings: Of Violets and Love (superstition story)

the one that still makes me laugh though ive read it a squillion times: She Had Had Enough.
