Plagiarized Story

Hey all,
I recently spotted a story on lit that has been very obviously plagiarized from one of my older stories. Big sections of it have been copy pasted from mine with no changes at all. The story they stole has been up on lit for about 15 years, so it's pretty obvious which came first.
I reported it using the report function, but is there something else that can be done to get it taken down or consequences for the person who posted it?
I'd say I'm flattered, but man....if you're gonna copy my work, at least pick a better one, that's literally my oldest and worst written, and the few bits they did change did not improve on it 🤣

The important thing was reporting it. You could also post a link to both stories here. We love to name and shame the dicks who plagiarize.
Thanks! I'm glad the report button should handle it.

Fair warning, the stories are very much in the non-consent category.

The plagiarism is here: https://www.literotica.com/s/no-safe-word-2

Most of it was stolen from this story: https://www.literotica.com/s/why-me-ch-01
but they also ripped off some from a later chapter as well: https://www.literotica.com/s/why-me-ch-04

Send a message to Laurel. It's her website and she's in charge of the stories.
IME, if you message Laurel about stuff like this her reply will be "please use the Report button on the story". I gather the report button links her directly to the moderation tools for that author/story, whereas sending a PM does not.

It's possible.

I've never had to message her for plagiarism, but there was one incident where a new writer asked me to look at his story. I skimmed a paragraph or two and told him going over other people's work wasn't my thing nor was it something I enjoyed doing, but what I read was fine. When they published it, they listed my name as "Edited by MrHereWriting."

I couldn't have that, so I messaged Laurel on here (I may have reported it as well) but she messaged me back on here and asked what story it was and she edited out the line containing my name.

I honestly have no idea how the report button works or how often Laurel checks those reports.

Judging by the speed of response to this plagiarism issue, and a recent under age content take down, I'd say the Report function jumps immediately to the top of Laurel's "Action This Day" list. It's been that way ever since I've been here - similar threads showing very quick action.
