Coming back to this a few months later, because I was just triggered by a story I read here, in which a woman is being sexually tormented, helpless and unable to stop orgasming for what is stated to be two hours.

That trope is fine! It's clearly a fantasy, but it's a fun one and can be great if written well.

She pleads to be released, totally spent, and the tormentor releases her. She promptly grabs him and energetically starts fucking him. Um, no. She goes limp and spends the next while trying to get her breath back.

OTOH, I've actually introduced a character into the next story I'll release who has an 8 inch penis. To use TV Tropes lingo, the trope is subverted, as my big-dicked guy is the only such character I've introduced in 10 stories, and also finds that there's a downside to his endowment. In this story, for one, he has to interrupt a very fun blowjob because the inexperienced woman he's with starts to choke, and it's implied that he avoids anal even when it's offered because he hates the idea of hurting someone.

Basically my inspiration for Pornville was similar to yours in that i wanted to write a story and fit as many porn tropes into it as I possibly could while still keeping it a coherent story.

Pornville doesn't contain EVERY trope, of course, but it covers a lot of the big ones.

I think part of the view problem was I put it in the wrong category, really should have published in Sci Fi / Fantasy.

I felt it was the typical T/I which really does not work for me.

If the tropes (back seat riding, little sister, clueless dad, etc.) were intended as making fun of the genre, they went over my head.

That is the danger with humor/satire. What ones find hilarious might fall flat in someone else opinion.

But I am also throwing stone living in a glass house. I wrote some (bad) Erotic Couplings which I felt were hot but did not get much traction.
So I went the R/NC route and got more viewers and positive votes than I dreamed off. And these are not better written that the Erotic Coupling ones. But the readers love it. However, I feel that this is selling out. Is it? No clue. It is for someone smarter than me to answer it.

I am not masochist enough to attempt LW.

The truth is, as much as we can sit here in a thread and discuss tropes and how much we hate certain ones, the fact is that most readers here fucking LOVE tropes.

The reaction to Mom's Backseat Boy drove that home to me in a huge way.

Love them, hate them, or indifferent, those tropes aren't going anywhere.
