Where to find the "Submit" in my Profile (Trying to submit a story)

Hi there.
I am rather new here. I would like to submit my first story. I've read over the directions where it says, "First, sign up as a Literotica Member. ((I've done this, obviously)) Once you've done so, you can submit stories and poems directly from your profile, using the Submit links at the top of the member page."

I have gone to my profile, but I do not see anywhere to submit a story. I see no "submit links".

I realize I must be doing something wrong, because across the top of my screen I see "Welcome, Alex Undercover". Under "Quick Links" I see where I can access my profile. But again, when I click on that, I see nowhere to submit anything.

What am I missing?

Welcome to Lit.

You would want to go to your author's profile page (you may have to log in again - it's your forum password) on the actual story site and then hit Submissions, under which you will find the option to Submit a story or a poem.

Follow all the instructions from there - it should take several days for a story to be approved.

You have a profile here in the Forum ( also called Bulletin Board ) AND a profile in the Stories section: it's almost like two parallel systems. So now go and complete your profile in the Stories section and that's where the submit controls are. It's cranky but quaint
