intrigued said:...In your "two faces of the GB" thread, you were one paranoid little critter that felt posters were telling eachother things you revealed to them privately. Prior to that, I was chatting with a lady that was supposedly your girlfriend, and because she and I were friends first, I felt a little odd. ... (She had asked me to not reveal the knowledge of your relationship to anyone because you wanted it kept secret....since it was you I revealed it to, it didn't seem as bad, but I realize now that it was.)

Isn't anyone else curious which of the Lance supporters it could be?

A Desert Rose said:Now here is a new Lit mystery to solve... I gave up on pagenangle's thingy. Everyone loves a mystery.
This could be a new thread for someone to start, even.

Let the amatuer Sherlock's get to work!

Cheyenne said:Hey, a thought crossed my mine today (yeah, it happens now and then.) What if Lance told his girlfriend not to tell anyone about him because he has more than one girlfriend here at Lit? Wouldn't THAT be entertaining when they all found out about each other?![]()

We could also discuss your Lit b/f, couldnt we...if I was that sort of person, I could start all kinds of innuendo.![]()

you mean you guys fool around with more than one person at a time around here?
Not all of us. Some of us are are even single people who see other single people in real relationships away from the board! OMG, I think that makes us "NORMAL!" Secrecy from the board at large (not from good friends) is called privacy, a concept that is foreign to some people, especially drama queens. Secrecy between two (or more) people in a relationship though would be poison. That kind of secrecy can result in broken hearts, faked deaths, irritated spouses, etc. etc. etc. JMHO. It isn't important for the board to know everything, or even anything, about couples here. As long as the couples know everything about each other, that's where I see truth as being critical.

by 'being single' when you meet other 'single' people, you just mean that you don't have your husband and all your other lovers with you on the date, right?
I just want to make sure I've got all this relationship stuff straightened out before I try having my next one.

One-on-one? You are so behind the times! Of course I'm not one who should talk - I consider cybering to be cheating, so I guess I'm just too old-fashioned to understand today's 'new-improved' monogamy.Cheyenne said:hehe... I think I know now why you'll have to have a "next" one.
Nope, I mean single as in single. Can it be that "normal" one on one relationships between single people are really that unusual these days? Funny, I always got the impression here at Lit that such a relationship was exactly what many people were wishing for.

But seriously, I think our tendency to go looking for the perfect relationship these days, may be the best way of not finding one - if you look for something hard enough it's easy to fool yourself into thinking you've found it, and wind up stuck with something you never wanted.
Cheyenne said:Yup, old and conservative. Definitely not "hip." That's me!
I don't think any relationship can be perfect, personally. But I do think some have a much better shot than others at lasting for awhile!

MissTaken said:There is definitely nothing wrong with not being "hip!"
In the last two years, I have toyed with all varieties of templates for relationships and find myself back where I started.
One man.
One woman ~with children
And a lot of commitment.
