Where is Siren????

But those are precisely the women that Lance and Hanns pick on. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Ishmael

Exactly......to your post and to lavy's.

Siren is the rare person that has the ability to simply forget that she is sitting at a computer, with all the obstacles that come with it. When she posts, I feel her every bit as if she were sitting beside me....Siren knows no bounds when she cares, and care she did. We had several bumps in our first posts to eachother, but like the classy person she is, she didn't like it a bit, and went out of her way to correct the things that happened between her and I, as she did with so many others. I remember when I first got the nerve to post over here, she and Guru had a very funny thread going and I seized an excellent comedic opportunity to jump in, not having a clue about these 2 posters and how they would handle it, and wow, they really impressed me. I was a newbie, yet they played with me for about an hour, and had me in physical pain from laughing so hard.
Then, there were times when I literally cringed at her words to others, and I would think to myself "what a complex critter this one is". But she never failed to amaze me all over again with the manner in which she would keep at it and take responsibility for herself.
Then, AFTER all that happened when she attached the legal discaimer to her siggie, she went out on a limb and gave me some info privately at a time when I was very worried about someone else. She sat with me, explaining to me things I didn't understand, during one of the longest nights of my life, and that means a great deal to me.
What is so intriguing to me is the way in which she was able to speak her mind no matter what...she called as she saw it...it doesn't make a damn who you are to her. I admire that. And with that came a price, and though she obviously struggled with it, she paid it repeatedly. I admire that even more.
Siren squeezed every drop out of her time here, and she is someone very special to me, what she offered was often to her own detriment.
What also intrigues me is that in her own profession, she encounters the worst of the worst, and those facing hardships that most would buckle from, and a great deal of suffering because Siren is the type of woman that bleeds for others. I really expected a very hard woman, a cynic, a very jaded person...but no. Her heart, her character and what she believes in drives her to push for more, to keep believing, and to do more than her part in making a difference.
She made a difference to me.

Lance, on the other hand, is the biggest pussy I have encountered on the internet. Since yesterday, I have sat reading his words about Siren, me, lavy, tulip, and then, his words to modest mouse in which he called mm a pussy. It took everything I had to take another breath. Lance is a very little boy that needs to jump up and down screaming "look at me, look at me!!", pull the little girls hair, and throw snakes at them because he seems to think he has no other way to get their attention from behind his computer. He is the most repulsive of all my trolls because he is the only one that takes it seriously...it is his career. When I look back at what Hanns did, well, it was nothing special...just another little boy swiping his favorite pics and spreading the joy from one website to another. :) When I think of LordLucan74, well, he is yet another "nothing special troll"...a new friend that I was kind enough to invite here, only to find that he wanted more than I could give, so he spazzed out. Typical, "dime a dozen" stuff that anyone with 2 brain cells can see through.
But Lance...well Lance and all his many personas that troll me (my opinion, can't back it up since its too many ID's to ever have the time or interest to pursue) has issues that are bigger than his sanity, and so much bigger than his testosterone levels. He is simply unable to ascertain when someone has no interest in him, and has no concept of the words "I want no further contact with you." So, in little boy fashion, he does any and everything he can to get my attention, and had it not been for the very bad day I was having yesterday, he would have gone unnoticed, as usual.
I have to smile when I think of him sitting smugly, thinking he ran me off from Literotica...see Lance, I can yank your chain, too.;) (Oh, and pass that on to Registered Troll for me, K?)

I tried to be your friend, Lance, but you had to go and make it some kind of "male/female" thing simply because I mentioned on the board that I liked you. Woohooo...talk about making a leap. I did like you because your mind and the way it works was a hell of a puzzle for me, and I enjoyed the challenge. But I quickly found myself questioning the worth behind our new friendship, because it hurt me far more than it ever pleased me. When I finally realized I had given it all I could muster and wanted no more contact with you, you began to troll me. And you are still trolling me. Now, isn't that interesting.....:)
For the record, I have wondered "why?" What did I ever do to Lance to deserve the two faced way he treated me? And then it hit me, though I admit, it took the help of other great minds here at Lit to get down to it... Whoa! Stop the press! Someone talked about Lance behind his back!!!! Yep, we all talked about you alot, but we finally grew weary...sigh.
I admit, there are aspects of it I wasn't willing to reveal to anyone other than Trail, but that is because he is the only person I will ever trust, so I told him everything that happened between you and I, and I also allowed him to read our PM's because I wanted the opinion of someone that really knows me, and would be honest with me. In the end, I realized that you began to belive a few things that weren't true, and in my attempt to straighten you out, I hung myself. So, in a way, I kind of understood your way of thinking, INITIALLY. But...here are the facts, once and for all.

In your "two faces of the GB" thread, you were one paranoid little critter that felt posters were telling eachother things you revealed to them privately. Prior to that, I was chatting with a lady that was supposedly your girlfriend, and because she and I were friends first, I felt a little odd. Though you and I had never even talked of anything of a private nature, I felt that because you knew she and I talked on the phone (because we posted comments about it openly), that maybe you were accusing me of being one of the posters that talks behind your back. That is when I wrote you the letter telling you that yes, indeed, she and I talked on the phone and that yes, she had told me about you two. I was trying to clear the air, and be extremely honest with you. But that little act bit me in the butt hard, and I've paid quite a price for it, the greatest of which was the loss of her friendship, because I told her about the letter to you. (She had asked me to not reveal the knowledge of your relationship to anyone because you wanted it kept secret....since it was you I revealed it to, it didn't seem as bad, but I realize now that it was.) I tried to do the right thing and let you know that she and I were friends and that she did indeed confide in me, and that I was uncomfortable being in this position of you not knowing it and suspecting me of being two faced. But, in my attempt at doing the right thing by you, I hurt her. I handled every bit of it wrong, but my intent was to be open and honest with you. I regret the way I handled it, and I am sorry.
From this letter to you, you apparently deduced that I was your snake in the grass, so you started a thread dripping with innuendo about me and how I stabbed you in the back. Number one, it is not my fault that she told me about you two. Number two, you and I had just started talking, and we never got on any level in which I could just blurt out that I knew about her, so I didn't. When you started your paranoid thread about the PM Network and all the other crap you spewed, coupled with your own two faced behavior with me (nice in PMs, the poem you wrote for me...yet trolling me on the board) led me to believe you thought I was out to get you. Lance, first off, I would have to feel something for you to be "out to get you" and I didn't. Second, you did hurt me because your behavior made no sense, but I had no desire to do anything to you other than try to understand you, and to get you to stop, which is why I asked you to please stop it. You would not, the most you ever offered as to why you treated me as you did was because I "made it so easy". Thats because it takes so little for you.

I would like to add that its fascinating that you see me as having so much power over your life that I could effectively destroy your personal relationships. Whatever trouble you've had, you've brought on yourself. I realize you'll never get it because you have no clue how to take responsibility for yourself and your actions...it always has to be "Lance is right, the world is wrong." That's OK, those with working brains get it.
Its also fascinating to me that you are so interested in whether I saty or go....I really have made an impact on you, huh?

Oh, and for you, Registered Troll...I dig pulling your chain, too. Oops...or is it the same chain?;)
For all the Lance supporters....hope you can realize this is between he and I. Tell me off if you like, but it will be wasted on me because this has nothing to do with YOU. Please pardon me for not PMing him, thats a major "no~no". He never affords me that respect, so I chose to address him publicly cause thats how he addressed me, and thats how he likes it.

You are now on "ignore".

I note that so far, you are the only person in this thread that has chosen to be critical of another's view as opposed to expressing your own.

You're not going to cry, are you?

A Frimost impression requires more drool.

I miss Siren, too. She did help people, a lot and selflessly. She was no angel, she's a human being and as such she's supposed to act like a human being. There are good humans and bad human. Siren was a good one. She was easy to beat in debate, she has too many hot buttons, and she brought all of her personality to the boards instead of hiding in PMs like a lot of people do. However, she was also fun-loving, gave a lot of her expertise away for free, helped people without a thought to getting anything in return. She fought her own battles. You gotta respect that.

Anyone who thinks a person being human mitigates the good people do is a moron.

All agreed. As I've said several times already, I found her quite nice to chat with in PM's and could never really understand how wiggy she could get over posting here...so I hope she's well and happier with not posting.

Well, yes, but I think we should keep this thread focused on Siren...her troubles, her struggles, her selfless assistance to others at reduced fees, her kindness, her desire to see the sword of justice disembowel her legions of enemies...*sigh* ....what a sweet gal!

Just when and how did this thread turn into the Lancecastor Show?

I think there are many that are moved by my previously undisclosed secret relationship with Siren...and so they want to know more about the special times Siren & Lance shared together.

This is only natural, as Siren had all her posts erased after Wolf insisted she leave to regain her emotional health.

This leaves only me...Lance Castor....as the holder of her most precious last days here at Lit.

Yes, some have expressed envy... even shock... at the special times Siren shared with me.

Ah, those were happier times....simple times.

She was so simple and uncomplicated in her own very special way.

She will be missed.

Sincerely

Lance

You must have read this:

People with BPD often have highly unstable patterns of social relationships. While they can develop intense but stormy attachments, their attitudes towards family, friends, and loved ones may suddenly shift from idealization (great admiration and love) to devaluation (intense anger and dislike). Thus, they may form an immediate attachment and idealize the other person, but when a slight separation or conflict occurs, they switch unexpectedly to the other extreme and angrily accuse the other person of not caring for them at all.
