Sexy-girl, I don't know how well you know Siren....and you don't know how well I know her.

I suggest that's irrelevant anyway.

Various people have posted to say she has "things going on in her life" that prevent her from being on Lit.

She was clearly fucked up before she left. She was going to call the FBI over a link to a porn browser window trick as old as the hills as you may recall....

Her posts were all erased.

Her husband posted reasons and explanations to cover for her.

You miss her. As do others.

I suggest the most important thing is that she's attending to her life and looking after herself.

I do hope she's happy and well whether she's here lurking, as another ID or never comes here again.

Don't mistake my lack of fawning over her for an absence of human compassion.

I'm aware of that....hence my comments about her regaining an even keel. This place and/or her life seem to spin her out from time to time. I hope she regains and holds her center.

Your theory of him "putting his foot down" to order Siren to give up Lit is still laughable. Glad to see you have backed off a bit from that statement earlier in this thread, but you still aren't quite into the "truthful" zone yet. Keep trying. It may kill you, but you may be able to get there.

Actually, Chey...pabloback had started a thread about how IRs link killed Siren's computer about a week after wolfy did the same thing. They were both totally irate because Laurel didn't protect the community better than that . It was right after pablo's thread that all Siren's posts were removed.

*shrugs* I don't know what happened...she will be back if and when she chooses to. I am sure that anyone who is truly a friend or sincerely concerned is still able to reach her through emails or the phone.

My point to Lance was that he was making statements as facts that were untrue, not just giving his opinion. He was referring to things that Wolfy supposedly said, but Wolfy never did. I don't give a crap what Lance's "opinion" is on anything. I just wanted him to give us the links to the posts he is referring to from Wolfy. They don't exist, so he can't. Case closed.

On the other hand, Lance has at least backed off to stating that he is only giving his "opinion." I guess that tells us that he admits the "facts" don't exist. As usual.

Well put Chey. I have IM'd and spoken on the phone with both siren and wolfie since her exit from Lit. Siren left for her own reasons. Reasons that had nothing to do with any decision that wolfie may have made, or not made.

* wolfy is/was pissed at the amount of work that needed to be done to even begin fixing his computer.
* wolfy no longer posts here
* doesn't say directly that Siren cannot post anymore but feels that her loyalty to the site is missplaced...which in any way that you read it means that he is no longer happy with her posting here.
* doesn't make any comment either way as to whether she will be back or when.
* appears to have left everything up to Siren...which is what the rest of you should do.

You got it exactly right, Mia. I interpret that post the same way.

How Lance ever got to "Wolfy put his foot down" as the reason Siren isn't here I'll never understand. Maybe Lance's wife does that to him so he just projected his own home life to Siren?

As for the syncopation, although it is an inspired analogy, I think you might have to do something a little stronger than accentuate a weak beat in that jazz post to make it fit "your tune."
