Where I'm at...

I'm not even sure I belong in BDSM...mine seems to be a case that I've never heard of. Everyone else here seems to be submissive or dominant, or switches roles as necessary. I found myself attracted to this area, because i seem to be a self-contained master/slave combination. It is an odd thing, and I think I could be a good Dom to a willing sub, if only because of the iron grip I keep on myself. I teach myself through pain, force myself to break through barriers between the external self, and whatever lies at my core. Therefore, i find myself attracted to both sides of the Dom/sub relationship. My only weakness in that area is that, while I can easily identify my own limits, I may find it a bit difficult to determine the limits of another person.

I'm here exploring, learning, and hoping that some of you can help me find the place I need to be.

BDSM is a very large area, and lots of times folks come to this forum and they think they have to declare their kink. I do not think it is important to pigeonhole yourself. The more you have experiences to draw upon, and knowledge to fall back on, you will find your niche.

As I have said before, the journey is just as satisfying as the destination.

EB, I get your point...I just feel like while I know alot about the self-inflicted pain, I'm not sure anyone would want to hear about that. I may be involved in other areas later, but right now I'm focused on hurting myself the best way i can.

Johnny, I am sure Ebony will speak for herself, but I for one have much respect for her. In my opinion she is one of the most knowlegdable people here who post. I am sure she is not implying for you to go away. She doesn't even know me so I am not defending her for any purpose other than I do respect her.

Some pain is very erotic to me as well, but I would prefer to be the one who recieves it. Inflicting any type of pain to someone else even in play is a total turn off for myself. Thinking of ways to be hurt by someone can surely make for a pleasant evening when I am all alone.

Hmmm...maybe you and I should talk some more...I get the feeling that we could have a bit of a good time; I know some rather interesting methods of pain, from extreme personal experience!
