Where are all of the Midwesterners

Same here. I'm not even sure how much we've gotten, although yesterday was warm enough to play in it. :D

Sunny here today, but unfortunately that means no cloud cover to keep the heat in.

Cloudy here right now and we are waiting for the next mess to start. It is said it will start out with sleet, freezing rain and then turn to snow. Where I am they are saying 8-12 inches of the stuff by Wednesday morning. I am hoping they are exaggerating! Take care all!

I guess we are now paying for the mild summer we had. It snowed here about 1/2 in last week and more forecast for this week.

Hi sutherngent ~ Welcome to the thread. Hope it doesn't turn to ice for you! That is the worst.

I moved her from NYC in early March. You want bad? Try driving in snow when the other drivers all seem to think its a demolition derby. While I have seen a few bad ones here (NE) I can deal with that. Besides, gas is cheaper, my commute here (if you can call it that) is less than half the time and 1/4 the distance. Driving in snow isnt fun but it will be easier here I hope.

It isn't too bad after the first one. It seems everyone has forgotten how to deal with slippery roads and all. Of course the worst offenders are those who don't remember 4-wheel drive doesn't help with stopping. It just lets you be going faster, sooner and thus when you run off of the road you will be further in the field and so it will take 2 tow trucks to get you out. :)

Hope you enjoy your time in the midwest.

The sleet and freezing rain already started here. ~Sigh~

Ok........I have seen lots of diferent posts from various people in the Midwest but it seems as though there are generic replies and no follow up.

Where are all the Midwesterners who are risk-takers and interested in sharing stories, experiences, etc.....?
You know, a FORUM...

I am curious to see who is out there and who is interested in forming a circle of friends that can relax and live life a little.

How much fun would it be to have a group of friends from your area to be able to have conversations with that you, up to this point, have only had on-line?....I think it would be a blast!!

Well, the challenge is out there, who will answer it is another question all together...

:D

Shadow
checking in from SE Iowa here...

We had the sleet earlier and now have the white stuff falling. Well it is December. Please take care and keep warm {{{{{pleaz}}}}}

Vegas isn't in the midwest. Unless you recently moved....
Maybe you just meant that as a joke to say that you are a gambler...

Good evening erubank ~ Welcome to the thread. Hope you had a magnificent Monday and have a terrific Tuesday too. :)
